Quote:The WP sellers who sell many items every month do not give a hoot about this thread. Most of the numbers that you have so far are from the complainers and quitters rather than the sellers who are selling a lot and building for the future. FYI Pray tell me what future do you think these sellers have?? More lies and hot air just what the cheerleaders love to hear. What a shame you cannot see the light!!! |

User,
I'm selling what some consider "alot" on WP. IMO, that gives me EVERY right to complain. Tell you what; If you can get a straight answer out of Ka/Ray about this super-secret, all-powerful advertising strategy (that nobody else in the world has ever thought of, apparently), then, and ONLY then, will I stop complaining about the way things are run there. I will throw my numbers into the ring. February WP sales = 20 items for a total dollar amount of $391.95 The WP sellers who sell many items every month do not give a hoot about this thread. Most of the numbers that you have so far are from the complainers and quitters rather than the sellers who are selling a lot and building for the future. FYI
user, You are more confused than I am if your definition of a quitter is: $9.95 a month for NINE months times TWO STORES resulting in 806 hits and 13 sales! I believe it is morally WRONG to SPAM boards & sites and break their rules all for the glory of wp. I stuck it out for nine LOOONG months and I refuse to be dragged into the mud of being a spammer for wp! FINALLY I realize that ray is NOT going to HELP ME grow MY business. I think it's sickening that he can sleep at night knowing full well he is sucking hard earned money and hopeful dreams from his 'trusted base'. I have earned the right to be a complainer! And if you want to call me a quitter....go ahead! At least I know I have my self respect and dignity and MY customers don't have to worry about receiving unwanted spam from me. I started out honest and have held true to my beliefs throughout the entire ordeal. I DO NOT hang my head, I did it the RIGHT way. And if I have to be a rule breaker and contribute to a thiefs coffers to make it on line, then guess what, you won't be seeing me on line. I have had moderate success at etsy and ecrater and they don't require me to break my personal rules. And THAT is where you will find me. Sorry to all the great ttr's for this being so long, I just couldn't stand it anymore. Hey Ray.....guess what...I DON'T CARE if you figure out who I am and close my store!!! Ill |

I see them as sellers who can think logically and independently. They can see right through all the lies and deceptions. So far over 600 stores have closed on WP are you trying to tell us that all those sellers are complainers and quitters. |

Never mind, you anywhere you can. My bad. Hey, Ray, showin you the love
Who the hell are you to say I am a quitter and complainer? Where is your proof to back up these so called sales? I know how to sell, I busted my ass since August trying to make it work. I tried all the tricks I know, I put things up that I would have sold on ebay in a matter of an hour or 2 of posting them. I was not getting hardly any hits. I cheerleaded with the best of you and spent many wasted late nights doing everything in my power to bring the traffic I needed to get sales. Why should I have to work so hard for traffic when I am paying a site to bring it to me. There is patience then there is just stupidity. I had a few good months, but when they implemented that stupid phone verification system all my traffic came to a halt. Why are the boards so censored? Why do they keep stringing sellers along with promises of great things to come, when all they end up giving you is a few stupid banners and an e-mail link to invite friends and family? Why cant I find an address for WP? Is it even a legit company!!??? Why have I not seen one advertisement? Need I go on? I could for quite a while. Get a grip, open your eyes and actually look at the facts! |

Quote:$9.95 a month for NINE months times TWO STORES resulting in 806 hits and 13 sales! :blinkie: :blinkie: :blinkie: The shock is at the 806 total hits in 9 months for 2 stores that cost $9.95 each per month. Here are TODAY's page view numbers for our 4 (website) stores...and today has been a slow day: 6965, 2337, 1263, 325. We use free ZenCart shopping carts and have never done any paid advertising for any of the 4 stores. Quote:Why should I have to work so hard for traffic when I am paying a site to bring it to me. :ditto: If I'm paying a venue I expect to receive immediate gratification-i.e. it had better have traffic and buyers today (which is why I sell on Amazon) not next year (which is why I've never sold on WP). If the venue doesn't deliver traffic and buyers then I will complain and quit selling there because it wouldn't make any sense to waste my time when there are other alternatives with buyers and traffic.

Quote:Quote:$9.95 a month for NINE months times TWO STORES resulting in 806 hits and 13 sales! :ditto: Our driftwood website has had 1098 hits today and like BBH, we haven't done any paid advertising. We've had 691 hits in the past two months on a website that all we did was buy the domain name and install a zen cart. It's not even set up and doesn't have any products! I should also add...that domain name does not have any major keywords in it either.

Most of the numbers that you have so far are from the complainers and quitters rather than the sellers who are selling a lot and building for the future. FYI
updated numbers 8 sellers 69 sales for Feb. Still way too early to make a good judgement but I don't think there is a single seller at WP who can claim 1,000 or more sales for the month of Feb. Not even SCL can claim that so it looks like the figure Ray states of over 9,000 sales sitewide for a month is way overstated. Keep those numbers coming and we shall see. Remember to tell the truth as I have alot of saved material so lets be realistic about this. user391 thank you for posting your sales and congrats! We could do without the sarcasm though. There is only one person to blame for the lack of sales and that is Ray! Fact is most sellers see less then 10 sales per month at WP. Ray let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.."
