Everyone knew it was going to happen, so... as Pierre says, "it's only a nickel."
I'd have to agree with Then. Frankly, I think many sellers were surprised it wasn't a bigger increase. |

Its impact on individual sellers is varied. |

Quote:Good morning folks. Mainly a lurker here studying this site for past few months to see how its progressing. Followed by... Quote:thaat your page views per visitor is running at 30 to 50% of the E express site and they are advertising the heck out of that one. Now that does impress me. And... Quote:Actually I should clarify it more. WP has been trending just short in visitors compared to the number two site since early fall but surged ahead this am. But according to Truth's graphs...the traffic has gone down. What is this WP "lurker" (which I suspect is actually Ray or one of his cronies) seeing?
So how many of you would lurk on the forum of a site that you potentially were considering selling on and for your first post on that forum post the above information? Interesting that the comparison of WP and ebay express shows up again. The original comparison came from Karen Interesting use of words "has been trending just short in visitors" sounds familiar (Karen) How many sellers post like that? The timing of this post and the fact it is supposedly from a potential seller also raises red flags. Once again it is apparent that Ray reads this thread. The alexa ratings have been posted here very recently, including Truth posting comparison charts. I guess Ray didn't want to post all of the above as Karen. That way you can say WP staff didn't post misinformation in case anyone challenges it, and you also get to mislead the sellers into believing that nonsense. |

Quote:WP has been trending just short in visitors compared to the number two site since early fall How do you trend just short of visitors compared to Bidville? Does that mean negative traffic? :blinkie: Bidville has been very consistent during the 4 years I've been a member: If you list 200 auctions,: 150 will end with 0 views, 48 with 1 view, and 2 with 2 views. |
