Wow, store count is down to 418 and they haven't even weeded out the non-payers yet. Non-payers will be gone on the 1st.

Quote:We believe strongly that we understand clearly now what it is that sellers require to join Wagglepop, open a Store, and stay for more than 30-90 days. I would think you would have figured this out BEFORE opening an auction site, Boinktard! Quote:Sellers want buyers, and want to build a customer base and earn a fair profit. Buyers want value and selection, and a seller body that they can trust.Bolding mine. NO, WOMBAT POO POO, SHERLOCK! Quote:We understand better ourselves, and the procedures and processes that need to be in place so that we can simultaneously grow, yet handle that growth and build and keep a trust-based community. Translation: Since the big eBay exodus we were planning on this month didn't materialize, I guess we're going to have to rethink our strategy. Quote:we look forward each day to meeting whatever obstacles arise, and to out-working and out-thinking our competition, wherever that may be That shouldn't be too hard to acheive, considering NOTHING compares with WP. Quote:May the wind be at our backs and the sun on our faces as we take on this mission Hope that gale force wind isn't the one created by the rush of sellers racing toward the doors, and the sun doesn't give you e-commerce melanoma. Edited for quote-retardedness. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote:The new Wagglepop Today (which will update quarterly) reflects precisely what we learned as a company in 2006 and how the start of our marketing campaign this quarter is going to effect our short and long term goals. When they announced the advertising campaign in December, they claimed it would start in a few weeks. Now they are saying it will happen sometime this quarter? Hmmm, I wonder if in March the advertising campaign will be pushed back to the second quarter.

Hmmm, I wonder if in March the advertising campaign will be pushed back to the second quarter. Translation: The "advertising campaign" announced in December was to initiate "operation eBay board spamathon", intended to capture the grand exodus Ray was anticipating with the annual fee hike. HOWEVER, (1) eBay's board spamming policy has tightened since the last grand effort; and (2) it became apparent eBay sellers took the hike with little consternation. As a result, Ray and Co. are going to have to rethink the "campaign" and come up with another strategy. This might take a few months. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
:blinkie: Geesh! I was gone for a week and excitement has come back to TT! YOHB quit filing Rat's teeth! How is she supposed to eat???
The information about Brian is what I expected to happen as Bric has closed her WP Mini Mall and neither her nor Brian could handle anyone who posted anything but praise. When Brian was willing to sink $10 grand into advertising for WP I really felt he was over the top and was going to be someone that would run if KaRay didn't bow before him. Of course, Karay wants everyone to bow before him/her too so that could be a problem. anyway....Pee Pee No No's may be the saving grace for WP :turkey1: :turkey1:
Good bye all
Enjoy your freedom Use it well |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
STORE COUNT 417
BUT, LISTING COUNT HASN'T CHANGED FOR AT LEAST A WEEK. Funny how that works. Edit: Get a load of this in response to my latest post on PSU Quote:Everyone makes mistakes and mistakes are part of growth. It will happen anywhere and everywhere. I've only ever known of one man who was and is perfect, and from the behavior I have witnessed on these boards and others, you would do well to get to know Him. I guess relating my observations, analyses and experiences are not up to HIS standards. |
