Truth please don't make me laugh it does not matter which one of their stores actually closed first on WP. The fact is both these sellers decided a few weeks back after Brian's threads were pulled at WP that they were going to close their stores.

Yes Truth there were other stores that closed yesterday but you know and I know which two you were talking about in your post again you are making me laugh again.

Again you are assuming you know who I am you are assuming you know a lot of things. You do know that saying about what happens when you assume don't you.

Yes scoop I do know what happens when you assume. Therefore assuming that your intentions here on TT were to be good ones would be the biggest mistake of them all. Make a few friends throwing powerseller under the bus, I see your game. You will hurt whoever you want so as to prove to yourself that your way of thought is the correct way. What a joke and thank you for warning me not to assume who you are or what your intensions are. I don't need to assume your intensions however.

Joining in about what powerseller said is exactly the way things are handled on the WP forums. It doesn't matter if I agree with what she said and I don't but you ignited the flame to benefit yourself. The match was provided by YOHB and I am sorry to say many joined in to bash a fellow business person or seller. That is something I will not tolerate after most of us were treated the same way at WP in the forums.

TT posters have been standing against stuff like this from happening and I am sorry to say that many joined in the bash fest. It is unfortunate that they did. I for one will not participate in a gang rape like that one that powerseller went through over the weekend.

I'm sorry but no matter what issues I have with someone, treating them the way we were treated in the WP forums is not something I will ever do. Humiliating someone the way powerseller was treated is not something I would like to put my name on. That is how we were treated in the WP forums and I want no part of it. The only person who deserves that is the WP site owner Ray Romeo.

Truth I'm not trying to throw PS under a bus as you suggest. There are things that I have agreed with PS on. This was just not one of them. There were times in this thread where I thought PS was being picked on unfairly in this thread sometimes it was by you sometimes it was by others. But this was not one of those times.

When I responded to YOHB post about it I did so because I had just seen a simular post on WP a couple of days earlier that I felt the same way as YOHB felt about PS post.

Of course it was a result of my original post - don't be bashful. But scoop was just one of many who came on in support of it and the fact that scoop was first has no bearing whatsoever on the general opinion. I credit many of our fellow TTers as being able to think for themselves. I call that common ground or if you prefer, a shared opinion. This was one point where scoop and I agreed although they are few and far between.

Once upon a time these ex-sellers were the blood and guts of WP. They built it's temporary popularity. They helped me greatly when I was there bestowing knowledge and friendship that I retain today with some of them. I know they don't need me as a champion on their behalf but I could not let such cavalier words go unchallenged. When PS starts showing the sensitivity to others that she yearns to receive personally then I'll back down. With take, you have to learn to give.

Truth I admire you greatly but you are running hot and cold here today and I'm getting a bit confused. You can bash scoop but the rest of us should be taken to task for bashing PS? I don't understand. Help me out here please. Icon_scratch

The point that I wanted to make with scoop (and I realize that I did not do it well) is that any seller who leaves, for whatever reason, you simply cannot say that WP is better without them. I, as well as many others here, posted angry comments when we were ridiculed or asked valid business questions. Yes, we had words with some sellers that are still there. BUT, we still wish them well.

I remember very well when one of those sellers started selling. She was extremely helpful and valuable to not only WP (in sales and listing), but to others who needed help. No, I have never met her, not have I had any outside conversation with her.

When the other seller had his disagreement with Ray, I was long gone. I laughed at his devotion to WP. I ridiculed his offer to build the website to help promote WP sellers - AT HIS OWN EXPENSE. He was a valuable resource to the WP community - until he worked to advertise off Ray's site, therefore out of the reach of his censorship.

I think these two individuals would be an asset to any site, considering the time and talent they exhibited at WP (any personal feuds not withstanding).

That was my point and why I did not understand yours scoop.
