I go away for a couple of weeks and find pages and pages to catch up with and more WP stores have closed.

I am back from my most excellent vacation in Grenada with a nice tan and very well relaxed.

We had a flight attendant named Kiki on our trip back and she was hilarious. She asked the passenger ahead of me to hold the curtain closed while the captain went for a pee. LOL She said that the captain expected these wee flight attendants to hold back the passengers behind the curtain while he went for a pee, so she thought that she might ask the bigger guy in the seat ahead of me to help her with the curtain.

We experienced some trouble with the electronics as the lights and TV went out in the cabin. Being the nervous passenger that I am, I immediately summoned Kiki to give me complete update and rundown on what was going on as I spend way too much time watching a program called Mayday. She told me what was going on and she said.. Be Right Back! Don't go away! (Like I'm going to pull the escape hatch and jump.) LOL .. and she came back to me armed with a rye and gingerale and told me to salute Puerto Rico as we flew over.

I think I will arrive nekkid for the Grand Opening Gala of WP. Toothy9

scoop, thanks for your answer. I totally understand your feelings. I left with hard feelings because of many pro-wagglepoppers wacking me over the head with their pom poms time and time again. Then, I had to stop and look back because I am sure that I wacked a few with mine, too.

I love the fact that we can agree, disagree, argue and make up here without one bit of it being deleted. It is a breath of fresh air for me after the smothering atmosphere I felt at WP.

Oh, I really don't want to have to shave my legs or wear a bra for the big gala. I'm thinking of just wearing a robe and maybe a pair of fuzzy slippers (both blue).

I would like to add a few numbers to that!

Manual listing count via view all stores = 120,110 (margin of error = 1% due to I can't account for listings being pulled while I count)
stores with 100 items or less listed = 162
stores with 50 items or less listed = 125
showcase stores = 14
featured stores = 25
PSU listing tote # for WP = 97,886
3 month average alexa rank for WP = 54,425
My best guess of how many active sellers on WP = 200 (this number is reflective of actual people and takes into account those people having multiple stores. Ray counts as 1 person for his stores as well)

Ray's predictions for January of 2008:
Date Benchmark Listings (All Formats) Stores
January 2008 2.5% (compared to eBay) 1.5 million 3,125
