I got a chuckle out of this post that comes after KaRay's very motivational "We are the SEO Masters" speech: Quote:I changed the title of one of my custom store pages to my exact store name, and maybe I'll show up better in search results soon. Wait - if the site is so highly optimized, why aren't you already experiencing good results? Oh, that's right, no one searches for Wagglepop, lmao. I won't name names, but let's just say this is one of the head cheerleaders that is SO busy that she has to cut back on her business. Can't imagine why she's concerned with search results if she's already that busy.
I also noticed that particular seller's absence from the "Conducting a Survey" thread. I would have thought she would have gladly shared with the others. She's never hesitated to jump in a thread before and talk about how many sales she had. :
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

The Knife Shoppe closed, huh? Maybe I should pay a visit to WPSSU. I have been so busy tho.
All you Zenis - congrat on your sales! I've had NONE. But I also haven't done a froogle feed, I don't think. lol I don't even know. eBay has kept me prety busy surprisingly. |

Hi scoop, I saw you had interacted with the fellow as did WakeMeUp and one other. All but one feedback, yours to him, were from sellers. But there has been no activity since October. I'm sure the fellow is legit. But KaRay isn't - I am convinced this is what I call a hijacked store. I would be quite surprised to learn the owner is even aware of it's many resurrections on WP in the past few months.
I think you may be right about that the way it comes and goes just does not make sense. I used to see him on the boards once and a while but have not seen him there for a long time months.
AND Store inventory listings have jumped on an average of 4 items per store on the first few pages. Makes you go Hmmmmm....
This does make you go Hmmmmm.... Maybe it's those mysterious duplicate listings appearing again the sellers may not even be aware of. :blinkie:
I also noticed that particular seller's absence from the "Conducting a Survey" thread. She's never hesitated to jump in a thread before and talk about how many sales she had. :
River I noticed that too it seems kind of odd |

I don't like things that make me go hmmmm.... I like things that make me go "icky icky icky ba-dam ping!" That makes me happy... and that's a big deal... for me...
Platzki you are one sick puppy, and for some strange reason I like it. > I also noticed a certain seller wasn't going overboard about all those sales. Too bad the changes of putting your exact store name won't make a difference for SEO, not unless people know it already. :blinkie: |

Quote:I also noticed that particular seller's absence from the "Conducting a Survey" thread. I would have thought she would have gladly shared with the others. She's never hesitated to jump in a thread before and talk about how many sales she had. I noticed, as well. I guess XXX is so busy downgrading XXX's store and taking care of all the sales on the six (I think it was) venues where XXX sells at (since WP is so lucrative, this seller needs 5 other venues ), that XXX just hasn't the time to spam on behalf of WP any more. But, we're not here to expose Ray's attached-at-the-hip disciples. Right? BTW: Gilbert Complaisance photography is still on eBay. Maybe somebody should send him an email to see if he's aware that his WP store appears and disappears with the phases of the Moon. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Something interesting about all these closures and reappearances, you cannot open a new account (or at least you couldn't before) with an old user name or use your store name again... so these stores cannot be opening and closing, because the software or Ray whichever doesn't allow it!

So 2 stores closed today and one new one arrived. KaRay, with the numbers falling, let me help you out by making some recommendations for the next couple you turn on. How about some you haven't used for a while like: http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/PennysSeedsandMore Someone on WP was looking for a seller of seeds. Or: http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/Lainees-Loft Maybe this one has patterns for sun dresses. Or: http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/Tonka-Bay-Treasures After all, you've lost a few toy accounts lately. You don't have to thank me. I'm always willing to help you fall on your face.
I made the above post on March 16th. With the removal today of delinquent accounts - guess what? Yep, these 'stores' were closed too. So you didn't like my choices Ray? I'll give you 3 different ones tomorrow.
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.
