Can't help you much but the WP time is setup on GMT time. Assume this means Greenwich Mean Time. Anyway ... I relate it to Iceland. Don't know why it's set up that way ... it just is.

As for the Invoice Direct, they've updated a few small issues here and there but it hasn't helped much. What they need to do is throw the entire system out the window and start over. It is certainly a far cry from buyer friendly.

Had a sale this afternoon and right behind it was the normal email stating ... "Just purchase this item and have no idea what to do next. Please help."

They'll get around to this but I was hoping it would have been a little higher on their priority list. It needs to be.

Someone needs to let these two know that new features may take place after KaRay receives $100 from each seller.

WP uses GMT because Ray doesn't know how to change the server time.

1. Wagglepop Checkout is fully wireframed, and we are simply waiting for funding of our requested budget for development, testing, and implementation.

Decreasing participation over the first quarter has delayed the original scheduled implementation, and our ability to have this new feature funded and integrated will be a direct reflection of user support in terms of overall participation numbers and available revenues.

2. List View vs. Grid View is designed and implemented to be a user controlled viewing parameter in total.

3. We use GMT as the general site time zone.

Hey Guys!!

I haven't posted here in a long time. Been real busy with just regular work and life.

I do stop by to keep up on what is happening at WP since I'm no longer there.
It is a real shame those sellers still don't get it.
It took me awhile to see what was really going on there. It was after I came here and read everything and of course going around and around a few times with DB before it sunk in.

As for the direct invoice it is never going to be fixed. Sellers were asking about this since WP first re-opened and nothing was ever done about it. What makes them think it will be fixed now.


I have been checking the new websites that have been created by ex-poppers and I have to say they are all very nice! I wish I could do something like that but still too scared and not enough knowledge to do the coding. I really do need to start doing something though so I was thinking maybe  ecrater just to get my feet wet.

I seen DB's setup and it didn't look too hard but the shipping thing has got me stumped on how to even figure out how to do it. I already read the info there and still have a problem. So if anyone has a tip or something that they wouldn't mind sharing I sure would appreciate it.

I don't know what we went round and round about, but you know I have the interests of the sellers at heart and NOT KaRay, and I get insane over seeing naive sellers snowed by the  KaRay feeds them as a regular diet.

Anyway, I PM's you on eCrater's shipping. It took me a while to figure it out and come up with something that worked for me. Maybe you'll be able to make better sense out of it after reading the PM.

Hi Lady! Good to see you again. Looks like DB has you covered with shipping. I always struggled with that on eCrater too and ended up with a weight based table. It worked ok and I just adjusted it as I went along.

That's so funny! When I was still doing custom templates on eBay I would literally email a customer the template and 5 minutes later email again saying "Wait! I have a great idea for ....". I guess when you really enjoy it, it's more like play than work - at least it always has been for me. I think I would rather give up my boyfriend than Photoshop!
