This is what I got:

Here, you can look at the 404 error page with the fake legal message which is working. http://www.wagglepop.com/x

WP's server isn't down.
WP isn't having upstream provider problems.

MySQL is down again...same as the last outage

Ray will wake up around 7 and notice the problem and restart MySQL by 8 am...same as last time.
A few minutes after that KaRay will post and lie by blaming the problem on upstream providers...same as last time.

Ray must have ignored the helpful posts with links to 24/7 monitoring services that we gave him last time. Smile

For anyone keeping track, this is the 3rd all-night outage in 3 months for WP. The last 2 occurred on March 27th and February 22nd.

eBay sucks (and this is the 1-year anniversary of the last time I bought/sold on it), but at least if eBay crashes in the middle of the night while Meg is asleep there is always someone on duty to fix it. WP doesn't have any staff to fix problems that occur when Ray isn't available.

None of the outages would have lasted more than 5 minutes if WP had a "night shift"

If WP isn't even prepared for minor technical problems like the ones that occurred during the 3 outages they're in big trouble if they ever have a major problem like a hard drive crash etc.
