Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Just found this gem. Someone was commenting on Alexia Traffic Ranking and then this post was next:
Quote:XXXXXXXXXXX 16 May 2007 03:20Bolding mine. How can Poppers believe that the "majority" of sellers that left are non-payers? I left. I paid faithfully every 10th of the month, yet I am considered a non-payer? Hello? A lot of posters here left in good standing. Why can't Popper's see thru the smoke screen? I am SO happy I left when I did..... ~Patti~ |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Good Morning gang!
Banana, that song... I needed pee-pee and spew-spew no nos. I was flowing at both ends!! Another outage huh? I missed it as I retired early. Here is the only comment made so far: Quote:We had some terrific storms this morning and it took me about an hour to get on WP. Could get on "E" okay so it must have been the eastern trucks that got boggled up. The author of the WP post quoted above did a 180 degree turn. I had been in correspondence with him and he was disgusted with WP ready to leave and even talked about starting an ex-popper site. Then he broke off contact, starting listing items again and is now cheering with the rest of them. I have no idea why he changed his mind but I'll bet someone talked him into it.

Touch No word yet about anything..... ~Patti~ [/quote] Maybe he'll just ignore it... Funny thing about the whole downstream server error crap is that he has claimed in the past to have a dedicated server... once I think he even mentioned that in the same post as the excuse for the error!!! Bill left WP even before I did because of the downtime "excuses" not even the errors themselves. He couldn't deal with being lied to. What KaRay doesn't seem to get is that someone, somewhere always knows more than you do... Bill knows how servers and networks work so to be blantantly lied to about it drove him crazy!!!!! Ray... when you lie, you make yourself look like a fool. Try the truth... it works!! |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Good Morning!
If you consider paying an invoice that you do not really owe to have your store closed nonpayment than guilty as charged! As far as listing a dozen items and hoping for immediate sales....ummm how about hundreds of items that sell anywhere else like hot cakes! I even let everyone in on the whole tickle me elmo craze to try to drive traffic in. How can you justify paying for a site that is not bringing results, and more importantly putting money in the hands of a person that lies & manipulates. You can not even ask valid business questions without him hitting the delete button or being attacked by dozens of angry cheerleaders! |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Talk about avoidance .... And I can't wait to see the lame excuse they ALWAYS use to tell Poppers everything is ok.
This newest post is unbelievable. I'll tell you what. If I went to a new site looking for 5 things I wanted and came up with squat I can tell you I wouldn't go back to the site to shop. They had everything - over 900 stores with TONS of items listed. We had people in a lot of categories (except antiques ect.) when the store count was high, and NOTHING was done to promote WP. If they were honest and followed up on their promises maybe they'd still be inching up to Karen's expectations. I can't ever see the store count growing over 400 at this point, none the less having 3,000 stores.... ~Patti~ |
