It's called a crusade. The subjects of a kingdom used to answer the call to battle when the king demanded their services. They faithfully carried the flag and rode under the king's banner despite the strength of the enemy meeting them head on. All for a cause they were convinced was just. In this case, the enemy is identified as us. But some of the faithful do not know, do not realize or will not accept that their greatest contender resides within themselves. Until one day...
Were do you people come up with these nice poignant funny sayings....between you and The Pet Guys - Props to you both! I think I gave karma to both but after so many brownies and too many days behind the gym, I just can't remember...... Thank goodness I didn't forget how to type faster than the wind! |
Quote:I'm not cheering for all the other "baskets" because Wagglepop is my favorite and where the largest portion of my recent income has come from even though it is not the only source. Nothing hypocritical about that. I am just getting started with Wagglepop though. Perhaps I can check back in with you guys a year from now when my business is much further along? How would you guys like a Christmas sales report next year? Oh please powerseller please give us a report a year from now! Just so we know upfront how are we to look at the growth? week-week, month-month or year to year? Oh could you give us some updates around Easter? If the site should close between now and then could we please have a final total as well? let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." X-POP NATION, A real seller's network Edited to add: Store count = 614
Oh, so many choices. How about I report on the month of October 2007? That's a good 'average' month without any boosts from holiday shoppers. (If you're going to evaluate overall growth of site sales, quarterly is a good way to go. Year to year is good, like if you want to compare June 2006 to June 2007, that'll be fun too.)
PS will we be getting an EASTER sales report and a June 2006 to June 2007 report from you??
Good bye all
Enjoy your freedom Use it well |

Quote:I am in fact not nearly as focused on WP as you and some others here are. Hmm...scratches head...could the reason the posts of people on this thread are so focused on Wagglepop possibly be because the subject of this thread is "WAGGLEPOP"? : If you read the other 10,000+ threads here I don't think you'll see anyone focused on Wagglepop.
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I'm pushing to be the first on page 900! Did I make it.
Has anyone noticed that User and PS NEVER post concurrently? Hmmmmm. PS -- You are full of enigmas. You're proud of your sock puppet ID, which was taken from a site you claim to detest (and still have a presence, but haven't been what you claim for many months), and you steadfastly defend his Divine Boinktardness, a known liar, cheat, con artist, hypocrite, and loser, while you profess to truth, justice and the American way. You strive for honesty and integrity, yet raise your flag to rally around a man who has shown neither to at least 75% of his customers. And how can you claim your allegiance to WP an objective "business decision" when any 2-year-old can see that when 3/4 of any business's customer base runs in a panic out of a burning building, there is something terribly wrong with that picture -- unless you happen to be in the business of selling smoke alarms or flame-retardant underwear. If WP is so great, has so much to offer, and is such a value-packed venue, why are you no longer a featured seller? Oh wait, I remember. Because you had so much business, you didn't want any more, which is why, I'm sure, you continue expanding to other venues (eight of them, so far) and spend your time participating in listing contests when you could be attending to all the buyers you don't have time for. Oh, and while we're talking about the "N" word, I'll never forget how you publically challenged my credentials and said I don't "sound like an educated person" to you. Shall we take a poll? Who on this thread views me as uneducated, provincial, naive and ignorant? And I seem to recall an uplifting, positive comment you made about "success being sweet revenge." Edit: And does anybody here have a clue what User sells on WP, what his store names are, his ID or anything about the business he claims to be such a glorious testament to the virtues of WP's "revolutionary" and "dynamic" business model? Seems like every time I ask for substantive evidence so I can express my congratulations, he conveniently disappears. |
