Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Well, I honestly can not remember ever beating pom-poms... but! I know I was on the worst trip of my life there for awhile with hope in WP! Illegal drugs have nothing on what a bit of hope and misguided belief can do to a mind! When you want something so bad to work, it's just hard to let the belief go.
Kinda like young love... you know you're being stupid, you know it's wrong, you can see everything clearly but you still don't want to admit what you know, you know, you know, you know... but it's easier to pull the shade down and not think about it for awhile rather than to open up, let sun shine in and see you're getting screwed royally. Okay! That being said... I seriously can't remember any bad thoughts about you guys, I just, shoot, I don't know, I just didn't want to believe you - I wanted to keep the shade closed a bit longer I guess and hope for the best - What a joke that was! LOL! |

Quote:Hi XXXX, well since it's summer, it may take a little while to get established and get some things sold while everyones out enjoying life. Summer is the slowest time for auction watchers, as you probably know from the E. I sell there too, or used to, barely anyknow, as for any high priced item you TRY to sell, they take a big junk out for buy it now fees, pictures, and end prices already, HERE, is another story. Just list and wait, and keep listing more items and it only costs you 9.95 for the store. You can't go wrong, and you'll save money doing it that way than paying for pictures and the listing fees too. The more items you have, the more they can be found on the search engines, and they will browse other items just to see what you have. And this brilliant advice coming from a member with 3 feedback that joined January 27th. Ok, so summer sales are slow. What about the late winter and spring sales? Get a clue. The slow season on WP is year round.

I would like to take this opportunity to say good-bye to an era: Good-bye to a great group of business owners that started this thread to shed light on the unethical business practices of one man who we all know and would like to forget....They worked hard to warn poppers and to dig up information about WP's staff of one and deceitfulness..... Good-bye to all the ex-poppers that have moved on to greener pastures where there are sales, real business discussions and profits.... Hello to the next generation of Ex-poppers: We have paved the way for you and are handing over the freedom we have found. Use it wisely. This thread is not about you but about giving others information about WP so they will see the truth. Carry on..... With humor With Facts With Dignity So long :cinqo2: :cinqo2: :cinqo2:
I would just like to say that all of us newer TT members really thank you and the ones who have been saying from the beginning how corrupt WP is. It took some of us a bit longer than others to stop drinking the , but you did get through to us loud and clear. I for one am quite embarrassed about how I acted torwards many of you before I saw things clearly. Unfortunately I can not go back and rewrite some of the things I said under the influence. I can only ask forgiveness. Now, I do not want to feel like an intruder. If you would rather not have me post here that is fine and understandable. I know I do tend to get off topic sometimes. If you feel this thread should only be for spreading the light to other poppers on the brink of leaving than so be it I will keep personal affairs to myself or for another thread. Thanks again for all your hard work! |

Thanks again for all your hard work!
This was my first reaction as well... but after giving it some thought, I'm not sure that's just what was meant either... Kinda with Platz on this one though, I'll admit to being confused a bit... As for off topic and personal conversations - even though it is off topic, I like to know the people I'm babbling with and what's going on in their lives too... once you get comfy with folks, it's easy to want to share more of your personal life's happenings with them and I don't think any board would survive for long as a chat board if all topics were always strictly kept to? Without the personal interaction, I would have come here, solidified what I thought, left and never looked back... it's the personal interaction that makes bonds form. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Sweet, you will be missed.
I, for one, harbor no hard feelings toward any former poppers. During the 900+ store heyday, I was furiously waving the poms and drinking the I spammed other boards, hit Craigslist, and did everything that today's poppers are doing. The only difference is that I woke up and jumped shipped earlier than some. There is no shame here for what is in the past. Some held on longer, which is understandable considering the amount of time and effort it takes to build, try to promote and list on WP2. I will be here, even with those who blacklisted me in the online world because this is only a fun hobby for me...not my life's work. I let bygones be bygones. I would feel like a hypocrite to turn away from anyone whose behavior mirrors my own past mistakes. I move forward here with friends new and old. Unfortunately, my laptop is having surgery, so it will be hit and miss for the next week or so. To all former poppers - here's looking at you Until there is no more Ray and WP2, I'll be around.

I dont understand what is happening here. I have read every page and every posting. All of the sudden I feel like a Peeping Tom. I had some pretty bad things said about me on this thread when I was a WP cheerleader. I thought that was a bridge already crossed. If I am unwelcome here so be it. It has been fun.
