Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Everyone is welcome to me!!! Please don't take her post the wrong way. If that is how she feels, that's fine with me. She has been a good friend to me since last year when I left WP. But I am soooooooo happy to have you all here and your support means the world to me. After all, you sat with me when my dog was sick for an entire day and then gave warm hugs when the inevitable happened.
I know some here don't like to go off topic but it doesn't bother me at all. I really don't think one persons post should create such a fall out. I DO NOT feel that way. I really don't care when someone leaves WP... as long as they do whats right for their business. My goal has always been o help other sellers see the light and hopefully move away from WP and into a more lucrative venue or their own site. Thru my crazy life, I awake each morning wondering what's going on with my cyber friends and check in here each day. I like to hear of your triumphs and new grandbabies and I'm sad with you when things aren't going your way. It was one post... one opinion... and from what I read in the following posts, it was an opinion that is not agreed with by the majority on this thread. Sweet... I don't know what's gotten into you... feel free to PM me. Newer posters... I love that you're here!!!! Keep posting!!!!! Now that you made me sound like a friggin cheerleader for TT... I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread... |

I dont understand what is happening here. I have read every page and every posting. All of the sudden I feel like a Peeping Tom. I had some pretty bad things said about me on this thread when I was a WP cheerleader. I thought that was a bridge already crossed. If I am unwelcome here so be it. It has been fun.
Who put out the unwelcome sign? Have you heard anything approximating these sentiments from any TT-er here? I think what Sweet and others might be saying, is that now that WP is singing its swan song, there's not much work for us old-timers left to do here. The purpose of this thread was to show Ray for what he is and WP for what it is not, and such has been accomplished, as evidenced by the large number of new X-Poppers who have come on board. Many of the original bunch have left for greener pastures: gone on to start their own web sites, and more. It's part of the natural evolution of an X-Popper, and also part of what this thread and all of TT is about. I, for one, will continue to monitor the goings on at WP and post as long as there is something I feel I need to say. We love you, Pet Guy. |

I move forward here with friends new and old. Unfortunately, my laptop is having surgery, so it will be hit and miss for the next week or so.
Ouch! Best of luck there!
To all former poppers - here's looking at you Until there is no more Ray and WP2, I'll be around. Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I'm with Platzki on this one I'm confused I'm not quite sure what was meant or what's happening here. Watching this thread I've seen many x-poppers myself included who have come here and posted that they have seen light. Many have had their eyes opened reading some of the facts posted here. Some have had them opened due to a bad experience they had on WP. Either way when they come here and post they are saying you were right about WP and I was wrong.
What truely amazed me is how they were always welcomed. I really respected how everyone was so understanding and forgiving. How they seemed to put things in the past and go on from there. Like Brat I'd like to thank those who saw the light first and posted these facts here. It made me ask more questions and try to find the answers. I'd also like to thank those who did make me feel so welcomed here. Sherrand, Chiquita,Platzki to name a few and even DB who was probably hit over the head with those pom poms harder than anyone. By the way DB great post. There's still poppers to be saved I hope we can still all work together saving them. Some may take longer than others to see the light but eventually they will see WP for what it is. |

Just today I thought it grew to 219 from 217... I coulda been dreaming... or some pretend stores coulda opened up to hide that 2 real stores were closing and there was an overlap. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
DB, excellent post.
DB and I hit the scene at TT about the same time. She posted first and I lurked. We along with many others have been on this thread for a very long time. Sweet was one of the original posters. I have enjoyed every minute of my time here, and have met some the greatest people too. It is time however for me to step back and happily pass the torch on to all the newer members here. I too will be reading and just as DB said posting if I feel there is anymore to contribute. I don't want any of you to feel unwelcome or concern yourself with getting OT, hell half this thread is OT. TPG, Brat, Moon, and anyone else feeling like you don't belong, nothing could be further from the truth. You all are welcome and I wish you all continued success in all your future endeavors. May the force be with you to continue to enlighten, amuse, and always have the light on for anyone who needs a place to post, vent, share, and find acceptance. That my friends is what the heart of this thread is all about |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I for one would be willing to take a step back and see where the new posters take this thread... and that's a good thing!!!
Remember, I don't really know anyone over there at WP anymore... I only know the people that where there when I was and most of them are here now. You all have had recent contact with them thru the forums. Maybe it's time for us to step back and you newer posters to use your knowledge and power of persuasion to lure them here. They won't listen to us... they don't even know us!! What do ya think newer peeps?? |
I'll admit, I'm selfish... no one's going to MAKE someone see what they aren't yet ready to see... so I'm here just because I like you guys - you all make me laugh! I enjoyed your posts even when I was still at WP debating to stay or go... I'm here and posting out of sheer selfishness alone! I need the laughs! |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I guess I didn't take Sweet's post to mean others were unwelcome here, either.
Sure, the group has changed. Some of us jumped the WP ship sooner rather than later. Even some of us "old-timers" were huge WP supporters at one time. I'm just glad to see more and more people "getting it" and knowing that all the posting we've been doing for months hasn't been in vain. Some like to stay on topic, some like to share a personal connection. Either way is fine and no one is right or wrong, no matter which they prefer. I, for one, enjoy the personal tidbits shared and throughout the past months have found myself thinking of my TT friends when I'm going about my "real life". This is no less "real" and I'm grateful for the friendships we've formed here. I've cried, giggled, worried, learned and spewed lots of Diet Coke as a result of this thread. I hope we continue to enjoy each other's "company" long after WP2. Hell, we'll be able to predict a play-by-play for WP3!!! ListAndWait... I think Ray should bring this up in their next morning meeting - the name is PERFECT Race! Edited cuz I'm sleepy....
