mtyler 16 Jul 2007 01:39 I list routinely on the 'other' site, and would like to start using WP -- however, I would really like to see what prior sales have been - some of my decision as to what to sell and starting price upon previous sales of similar items. I assume such a search is not possible yet on WP? Is it in the works?? Thanks. marilyn Reply: New post: Quote:xxx 16 Jul 2007 01:39 And the "all things come to those who wait" reply: Quote:xxx 16 Jul 2007 02:57bolding mine What road? The road to eternity?
I saw that last night. Pretty fun shit. I am amazed someone even looked and answered with that stupid response!! Puleeeezzzz What would ever give someone the thought that there MIGHT ever be such an upgrade? Has their head been in the sand for the last few months?? The only updates that have ever been done are ones that either add more money to Ray's pocket (adsense), or allows him to keep more "control" of his minions, such as phone verification. Hey Ray |
I don't remember specifically what the security hole was, but I will say, my husband never "buys" online or does anything. Once he signed up for WP he started getting "phishing" emails etc. It was pretty funny, one was a Paypal one and the guy doesn't even have an account with Paypal! But, it all started when he signed up for Wagglepop! |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I've been thinking Yah I know, anyway. I can deal with ignorance because they just don't know, but stupid grinds me because they know but don't use the knowledge. ??? I am not computer savvy like a lot of people and never looked up WP or visited blogs. I just believed what Karen told us and went along really thinking I was helping build a better way. Most of the sellers there are in that mode. They are not looking beyond where they are. When Karen left I really was sad :'(. Then came the morning when the smile you're on candid camera thread was there I clicked the link. The thread was gone so fast I would have missed it. That's when I discovered what was happening. It took me beyond where I was. I just want to say thank you . Now, what can I do to help the others?? Nothing like a cause to keep people together Well, gotta go to that day job, can't wait to get back to my fun job!!

Nothing like a cause to keep people together Well, gotta go to that day job, can't wait to get back to my fun job!!
Ironwood I knew something was fishy in March - I saw a post that I knew was going to be removed and I did a screen capture of it. Sure enough the post and the seller were gone in a moment. This seller was truly frustrated with no answers. But after reading what I've read here, I think he's read and maybe even posted here - I don't know. I typed the message so I can quote it here...
Hello All, I changed the name of my store a little over a week ago to get my name more categorized with what I sell. I was wondering why our feeds here haven't been updated? I changed it almost a week ago and my old storename is still pulling up. As long as they don't get updated I can't get any exposure other than the work I do myself. Aren't we paying a monthly fee here? If you are paying fees you should get service, not what I feel as lied to. I know if you go to froogle and look, you will FIND my wagglepop XXX ads. This is what I've done myself (with help) not what has been done from here. As for google, the only thing that pulls up is still my old ad. Can anyone here tell me why our feeds aren't changing? Also, where did the sponsored wagglepop banner go? We were told that there was going to be $75,000.00 on advertising, but in all actuality, it has not been done. I also want to let everyone know that I love the community here. I am just very disheartened to what I have seen as so called business the last few weeks. Also this is supposed to be a community board, am I going to get suspended and marked as a non paying seller? This has happened to so many here that it's not even funny. They question the integrity of the owner and get booted and then marked as an unpaid seller. Why would a company that is supposed to be bettering us, do this to us? Sounds like someone is just feeding the people what they want to hear and pocket the money. MY 2C CENTS! XXXX
I know what you mean by not looking up WP or reading blogs. That has nothing to do with being computer savvy. But, I too jumped right in and before I knew it, I smelled rotten fish. I stuck around for 6 months! Part of me didn't want to believe the bad things I was reading... I found some nice people in the community boards - and I didn't believe there was a Karen - I posted as though there was because I knew I'd be shut down if I didn't. And I really woke up the weekend that a couple of sellers went POOF and I found out what happened to them. I found TT and since then I've been better...much better. LISTEN UP LURKERS AND WAGGLEPOP CHEERLEADERS!!! When Ray said he was going to spend 75,000.00 on advertising and promoting the site, he should have HAD THE MONEY IN HIS POCKET ALREADY and not counting on future funds!!!!! VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!!!!!!!!! And there WAS NO REAL PERSON NAMED KAREN! You are all on koolaide! You have been brainwashed by a cult leader and now some of you are little cult leaders. Like Karma says - Come to the dark side, we have COOKIES! And to wash the WP stench off - CUCUMBER SOAP!
Stop LURKING - Come and post!
