On Feb 26, Wagglepop had 67,462 monthly visitors with none being "regulars or addicts", according to quantcast.
Now, WP has 30,000 monthly visitors with none being "regulars or addicts", according to quantcast. I guess Andray's plan of Flagship ads kinda fell through? I also guess that Andray finally has his "core" flock willing to pay $30-70 monthly. It's 79 sellers that see the HUGE advantage and opportunity of buyer unfriendly phone registrations, no checkout integration, and buying overpriced auto floor mats.

I was comparing the number of references in Google search for my site to those of my competitors at resellerratings (I lost, my competitors all have far greater name exposureÂ
 ), and for fun :twistedevil: I decided to see how the site with "the best SEO on the Planet" fared as far as name (i.e. brand) exposure in Google. The results....Number of references to site (brand) in Google's main search: ------------------------ my effin' competitors...sob ---------------------- NewEgg 14,300,000 Adorama 4,170,000 Play-Asia 4,010,000 B&H Photo 3,630,000 ANTonline 2,420,000 BeachAudio 1,520,000 eForcity 1,350,000 Keenzo 737,000 NuLime 510,000 CellHut 346,000 --------------------- me -------------------- TulipStuff 234,000 ----------------- PSU Fave Big Bad eBay Alternatives ------------------------------------------ Bonanzle 95,400 Blujay 91,400 AtomicMall 79,000 Wigix 77,100 Wagglepop 58,400 Wensy 53,900 HiBidder 46,400 NeoLoch 16,300 YourHighBid 14,400 UBidRight 8,220 So to recap...for $29.95 monthly at Wagglepop you're paying for a site with virtually no brand exposure (outside of OAI forums) to buyers, and you're also paying for the privilege of there being a better than 50% chance that your listing will NOT be indexed in Google's main search (WP has 66,000 listings but only 25,800 pages from the WP site are indexed in Google despite it having "the best SEO on the planet"...granted 25,800 is 25,800 more than the Google-banned Blujay has indexed, but it still means that less than half of the site's listings are in Google's main search where most buyers search from (only a small percentage of buyers use Google Product Search or Google Base). If you don't want to spend $29.95 but you have your heart set on hiding your items at a site that has no name recognition with buyers, you could always waste your time listing at the free PSU favorites on the above list OR you could do the intelligent thing and start your own friggin' website and not waste your time at "eBay alternative" sites that nobody (outside of sellers forums) knows even exists.
