Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Considering the present state of affairs at WP, it is my opinion that any contributor (notice I didn't use the word "seller") willing to park inventory for $40/mo is an idiot. I'd be more than happy to rent out my garage for less. I can't guarantee warm fuzzies, but I can pretty much guarantee an equivalent number of sales.

Actually the purse does appear to be authentic...only it belongs to the Canadian Seller the listing was stolen from:

That one looks like it's spamming the sites all over the web.
myeglobal.com trademic.com safebuyfromchina.com auctionbidz.com.au ioffer.com happybuychina.comand on and on and on and on and on and on HUMMMMMM happybuychina? Yup, just where I would go to shop for all of the designer bags. Straight to waggflop. Ray, you're such a maroon (as Bugs would say) [/] |

Actually the purse does appear to be authentic...only it belongs to the Canadian Seller the listing was stolen from: eBay listing #140318215626 [/quote] After seeing this I was so incensed, I had to do something. I immediately emailed the Canadian seller, who, of course, had no clue. She emailed me back, thanked me for the "heads up" and said she'd registered with WP simply to report the infringement. It took two days for Ray to respond, but it appears this store is now history. I don't know what type of legal action (especially since this is an international issue) she threatened, but I do know the Canadian seller was not a happy camper and she was not about to sit idly and let Ray and this Chinese con artist rip her and her reputation off. At least Ray is smart enough to know that his ass would be grass in an international court of law facing a copyright infringement action against him. |

From a WP cheerleader with 4 stores:
Quote:I am wondering what the future of Wagglepop is with only 25 paying memberships now? I remember you saying the site couldn't stay open with less than 35 paying memberships. And you'll never guess (duh) - no response to the question. :turkey1: Edit: 5/12 a.m. One response from another Popper: Quote:I have been wondering the same thing, Rick. Good question. Apparently not good enough to be honored with a response from the omnipotent AndRay. |

Those poppers are getting out of hand. How rude to ask Raytard some serious questions! They are going to force him to close the site down and it will be the poppers fault!
Naughty poppers! Pay up and shut up, that's the rule! |
