Best use of Flash
Pay attention Brits!
This is one of the best uses of Flash I've seen. Basically you can upload a pic of yourself and a friend, put it in the trailer for the movie "The Wedding Crashers" and email it to your friends. http://www.weddingcrashersmovie.com/crashthistrailer/ What a INGENIUS way to get people to spread the word about a product through word-of-mouth and personal recommendation!! By the way, don't anyone tell Diger7 about this. She needs to get some work done for a change today! |

Re: Best use of Flash
I love the way this company put a mini portfolio on the web - the whimsical elf and mushroom starting page is Flash. So is alot of their work (like the Manhattan art project).

Quote:By the way, don't anyone tell Diger7 about this Too late, I already PM'd her. :twistedevil: Very good use of Flash, inventive advertising technique, blah, blah, blah. As the old ways of advertising on zee Net become less effective (banner ads had their day and died, text ads are having their day and becoming less effective as time goes on), you really have to come up with new ways to grab people's attention but you have to do it in a way that won't make them hit the back button...I'm tired, I'm rambling, but you get the idea.. .
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"
"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site. best way to put it is TULIPTOOLS.COM IS REALLY SHIT. DONT JOIN." -pubescent owner of rinky dink off2auction.com in 2011 |
