OK I'm going to ask a few stupid questions.
First off I didn't realize you guys did web hosting.

Anyway if I transfer my domain to your servers.
What does it usually take a few dyas to be up or what?

Also thier is ssl right so I can run my own back end carts
and forms on the secure server side after I get them set up?

Does this make any since?

Regic, which programs do you like? Are they suitable for techy idiots? I can do some HTML, etc., and photoshop stuff, but that's about it.

Re: STORE OWNERS BOYCOTT EBAY IN PROTEST
That's my thing HTML.. but know noting about php peril mySQL
and some of the back end stuff.
Sure I can do it just never got into it.

I can do forms, set up e mails links FTP SEO all the basics of design
and placement.
But I'm stuck on the old Yahoo servers (Their Certs are not even valid anymore)
using mitadata for forms notification,
crappy stats, 10 e mails only, (and those are getting slower all the time to forward)
NO customer support, (well they have it but NEVER get back to me anymore)
no spam filters or VP and a third party shopping cart provider
who don't seem to interested in adding Google payments
into the options portion of our carts at Mals.

When Yahoo jumped in bed with eBay... I said I was getting out so here I am.

Perfect time to transfer if I can do it and be back up and running in just a few days.

Bell you have one of thier plans?

The main thing I don't like about Yahoo Stores is the 1.5% transaction fee

Re: STORE OWNERS BOYCOTT EBAY IN PROTEST
Hi sliique and welcome.

Yea I'm on the old system been on it for like five years or so.

Seems like they are trying to push us out with all the carp they are NOT doing.

They are going to fit in well with feebay.

Plus their plans are pretty much up their for carp packages.

I compared the plans in the upper right hand
corner here. These plans are way better and I don't think these people
cave to the all mighty feebay if one would like to host a graphic
in a forum or something that the lieworld mods think
is vulgar or inappropriate to THEM.  LOL

You know that whole freedom of speach thing.  Lol

Anyway if I transfer my domain to your servers.
What does it usually take a few dyas to be up or what?

All you need to change is the name servers  and that usually only takes a few hours to switch over.  You normally don't need to transfer/change domain registrars (unless the old registrar doesn't let you change name servers etc in which case transfers can take several days).

Also thier is ssl right so I can run my own back end carts
and forms on the secure server side after I get them set up?

You can install SSL certificates from the account control panel but you  have to buy your own SSL certificate (you can get them from several places for under $20) and you'd also have to add a dedicated IP address ($1.75 month). Regic explained the whole SSL process better than I am on this thread: http://community.tuliptools.com/index.ph...437.0.html
