To advertise your business in the appropriate venue is perfectly acceptable.

To advertise your business on a help board for store owners, and in addition, attempting to disuade confused and scared people into using your services by convincing them that it is much too complicated for them to consider attempting, is wrong. It is also self-serving and not at all helpful.

I posted about a pug bag that a seller was selling on eBay.  I "met" her when I first started going to the Stores Board.  She's real nice and works her rear off.
I knew with all the pug lovers, it would sell.
That is the kind of spamming I do.
