MyWorld: eBay makes lame attempt to ripoff MySpace with new MyWorld section

same thought here and seeing others with same thoughts on stores forum.  it's only a matter of time til they nuke the me pages, imho.

if you want to take away a person's rights (in this case their ability to promote their St.E) you do it little by little.  We've seen the elimination of .com user ids, elimination of email addy user ids, the encouraging of all buyer/seller  communications to go through ebay's system, etc etc.  Only a matter of time til they plug all the holes, so to speak.

Weird thing is the new PPC ads that are going to start showing up in all searches on ebay.  Makes me think it's time to invest in some yahoo PPC advertising

Glad to hear that my thoughts weren't totally off-base and others are thinking similarly. 

From what I hear of click fraud and out-of-sight competitive keyword pricing, I'm not real sold on those for the little guy.  Right now, I say let the big boys fight it out to pay high $ per click -- unless, of course, you have stuff they don't have.

My website host is now offering a $50 value free ad with Yahoo.  I guess they're really pushing for a presence alongside Google.

It's NOT coming up for me on either IE of FF.
Of course I have ALL these fixes to STOP all the SPYWARE
from ebay and their third party cronies.

I think it's because Ebay isn't done tinkering yet. Yesterday I could get SOME pages to come up but not all.

They just can't do anything right.
