The best way to keep diaper rash away is to change the friggin' diaper. Often.

Quote:Rosie O'Donnell should be REPRIMANDED! (Better?) The original title would have generated more traffic. ;D EDIT- how about SPANKED instead of reprimanded? [/quote] We definitely need to go with spanked. Quote:Searches done last month: |

Re: Rosie O'Donnell should be REPRIMANDED! (Better?) :)
Actually, "spanked" was my first thought! I figured it would set a few off, so I went with something less controversial.
thentavius, I agree there are a LOT better ways to rid one's baby of diaper rash other than Rosie's suggestion. Now, as far as ear infections... there is NOTHING over the counter a person can purchase. It is the doctor, pee, or nothing. Who is game? |

Re: Rosie O'Donnell should be REPRIMANDED! (Better?) :)
Yep.
There are many homoepathic remedies for chronic ear infections that don't involve leaning over a child with a full bladder . . . wolfsbane, pulsatilla, and aconite. In addition, there's the good old antibiotics from the MD. The problem with these kinds of studies is that they deal with *sterile* urine. Guess what, urine doesn't stay sterile in the real world for very long at all - often it quickly becomes a medium for the very germs we are trying to kill. Whether it was in jest, or in seriousness, I consider Rosie's comments to be irresponsible. Leave the medical talk to the medical people, not to the comedians. |

Re: Rosie O'Donnell should be REPRIMANDED! (Better?) :)
That's crazy. Whether you're talking about the diaper rash or the ear infections it's all about insanity. Even being a neighbor to a holistic healer I still haven't heard of urinating in someone's ear. I would think that would be the cure if you were so poor you couldn't pay attention! That's the kind of cure that necessitates a protective services consultation. Who financed these studies anyways??

Re: Rosie O'Donnell should be REPRIMANDED! (Better?) :)
"What's for dinner? ...she asks...
Tough, dry, center-cut loin pork chops, with gooey, damp crust. Baked red taters, cooked to perfection ala black leather on the bottom, slightly raw in the center. Blackened cornmeal-fried zucchini sauteed on overly hot grill, enhanced by the aroma of corn oil smoke. Massive wind, rain & hail storm for ambiance. 2 rolaids for dessert. Very romantic dinner! > The fresh, scrumptious, garden-grown tomatoes were WONDERFUL !! |
