Re: Company Blogs Are DEAD!!!!!
I wonder how many of us resist blogging or writing content-rich articles because we are afraid of the writing itself? Or, like me, never can figure out how to get started. That first line is the worst part of it, IMO.

I really have absolutely NO interest in it. It's just something I do. BORING. The only part I like is sculpting the metal. Don't think my customers really want to read about that. : |

I have a friend who is a jewelry nut and I know she would. Hell, I'm not even into jewelry and I would be interested. And designing jewelry involves color too, doesn't it? So why couldn't you do an article about how you choose the colors in a piece? That could include information about color theory as well. |

Quote:Yes, but not nearly enough latitude for me. You just have to think outside the box. That's where that keyword tool would come in handy. Look for keywords that you can use to keep an article relevant to your product but still allow you to wander off, so to speak. |

Lots of people would enjoy reading about it--but I'd be careful not to reveal too many of your "trade secrets." Do articles on what inspired you to do different pieces, or loosely how you went about making it, without telling everyone how to go and do it themselves. LOL. I bet it would boost sales.
