I'm late to this conversation.

But, without meaning to sound overly suspicious or accusatory, perhaps there are valid or logical reasons ebay PTB's absolutely don't want Smythe posting on their boards. (Smythe says he never even *knew* there was an ebay community or discussion boards on or off ebay after all those years being on the internet and selling.) Why the instantaneous permanent suspension? Why the instantaneous locking of threads and suspending of anyone who mentions this seller's name?

Think about it a bit before jumping all over this with the usual ebay-bashing diatribes. I haven't read the SB threads alluded to, but I don't buy any of the normal reasons for the dirt-nap slap in this situation.

I'll repeat. I don't buy ANY of the usual reasons. So. What's up with this?

Edit: They're obviously enforcing strict board control here.
