Cranky,
Quite awhile back, I didn't believe Xp when he said I would get slapped just for posting "xppman". I went to the T&S board, picked a thread and typed only that one word. That post was pulled within 2 minutes, although I didn't get a slap. The fact that they pulled it at all tells you exactly how much they truly value our opinions. |

Well, Randy, if you really want to be amazed (and something to include in an article), forward the suspension email to spoof@ebay.com. Trust and Safety will respond and you will be told that it IS a spoof. You see, they don't bother to look at them. [/quote] A classic example of the ineptness of spoof@ebay.com occured last December when spoof goofed big time and told an eBay user that a phishing email sent out by an identity theft site was in fact a legitimate ebay email: http://community.tuliptools.com/index.ph...ml#msg5789 |

Randy,
If your old selling ID was NARU by eBay's choice and not yours, you are'n't allowed to use another ID. There is no way around it either. ;D |

I went on a spree one week where every listing confirmation, invoice, question, billing statement, etc. I forwarded to spoof. Just wanted to see if anybody was actually working Anyways, exactly half of the stuff came back identified as spoof, half as real. The funny thing is, they were all real (and most of them automatically generated by my activity on the site). I don't think they actually read them - I think it's an autoresponder that is sometimes set for "confirm" and sometimes set for "deny". Sure is easier than actually paying for staff.

Belle - Thanks for the info. I saw Hucksters post. It appears I can still read the boards I just can't post on them. So if you get a chance. Let them know I'm still reading. I will just make the comments on my blog.
Thanks Again. Randy |

Well, this is pretty interesting. I was just posting to that thread, and when I hit the submit button, I got a message that the thread had been LOCKED. It's still on the Stores Board, but it's locked, and it looks like one message was removed - there were 42 and now there are 41. Pathetic buncha losers!
