LOL.....He's such a whiney little beech.

All of that over some poll that left his little sites out.

He pretty much says everyone is a liar and I'm the only one that calls him on it.

Oh well, I seem to go there when board for entertainment. It's funny how some get so upset and into their own little PSU world.

He's constantly starting threads....he's trying so hard to get his little sites on that auction site count. Keep trying little man.

New spot!

I like to think AWW is a true business platform provided for true business people. I would hate to think we could or will become a social network site relying on action committees and or cheerleaders to promote us in terms that apply only to themselves, and that which are exaggerated or deceiving.

That's Chris, insult 30,000 folks on sites like Bonanzle so he can make his 4 sellers happy enough to list 500 auctions in his 10 fragmented "Niche" sites.
He's a gem for sure.

So, hear the one about PSU editing posts?

Here's the bug in your ear Big Grin

I nosed around PSU re: post editing and found it mildly interesting.

First that someone is supposedly changing posts @ PSU and second the leap that it might be a member of TulipTools. The conversation even went so far as to notate which TT members might have the "skills' to hack a site.

Not a chance in hell it's a rival or jealous site owner. No consideration that anyone can capture login infos on a non-SSL enabled site with free tools which are available all over the internet. There is no consideration that it could be an inside job to create a little controversy and keep those Bonanzle threads bobbed to the top of the recent topics menu.

No. The blame falls to Deepy/DRM, someone from TT or a PSU moderator.

It's impossible to follow the logic that TT members could care enough to break the law in order to facilitate the spats that have become the hallmark of PSU. The idea that a PSU moderator would engage in this kind of behavior is a stretch. The truth will end up being closer to home: one of their own members (like the disruptive OLA multi-ID members stirring sh!t in the OLA threads) or the members or owner of a "rival" site.

Oh, and on the banned one... I take Angel's input and Carol's and say I could very well be wrong. I too have seen him say several intelligent things that were worth considering, though I have also seen some purely nonsensically disruptive things. I have also heard some say he was helpful on occasion. I certainly think he is intelligent and determined enough to have done this, but may very well not have the interest nor the knowledge nor the callous disregard of others to have done it.

Another group that enjoys disrupting the alts in the "interests" of "protecting" online sellers and encouraging them to establish independent websites comes to mind. Having, very occasionally, perused their forum, I feel they are much more interested in tearing down than in building up, and I have noted they take great delight in exploiting security holes on various sites...

I still think there is a 10% chance it was a moderator of this forum (up from 5% yesterday), mostly based on lack of communication to us regarding any outrage they might feel at this violation of the integrity of PSU.

Mechelle, this thread should ring a few bells:

In that thread, the posters of post #2, #8, #18, #29, and #70. The last 3 don't have the tech. skills to be 'suspects'. (I left out a few other posters who are technically TT members, but whom I wouldn't consider to be part of the 'group'. I myself am a TT member, but for the purpose of telling the positive truth about alt. sites, not tearing them down.)

Yeah, it's all a bunch of BS. I told them it wasn't anyone from TT or a site owner.

They know damn well who did it, but don't have enough guts to call them out. Of course, whoever calls them out would get banned for sure.

Yeah, playing around with the threads constantly, but just didn't happen to read any of the molested posts. Me thinks there's a little kitty needs a little spanken.

Then there's all of the conspiracy BS.....I told thim if it were a murder mystery, they'd all be dead....duht da da

Admin has responded twice but really doesn't want to get involved. Some think whoever did it should get banned. Well, then, who in the hell is gonna run that damn cafe? Who wants to sit on there constantly? No, the little kitty brings in traffic and gets posts, so I don't think they'd get banned for playing around with some green posts.

Hey, maybe it was a slow night and they needed some entertainment. You know how cats are always getting into trouble.
BTW....P.S. should really be honest and admit that it's really for the purpose of getting ATTENTION!

"Hey that bird is dead." "Are you sure?" "Yes, it's dead." "Well, maybe it's just tired." "No, you drove over it. It's dead" "Well, what if I poked it with a stick?" "Are you just arguing with me because you have nothing better to do?" "Yes"

In a related story, the board at Alibaba held a secret underground meeting today to discuss ways to compete with sites such as Auctions Worldwide and their counterparts, hoping to steal one of their two monthly site sales. http://www.auctionsworldwide.net/lastwins_bingot.php

Maybe if he didn't spend so much time on PSU, he could do something with his sites and get them up to the level of household names like Wagglepop, Atomic Mall, Alsoshop, and Auctions8.  Notworthy

Not only do we take great delight in it, we also invite our fellow miscreant hole exploiters like Secunia to join in the fun when we find a new hole to play in (an example of a joint attempt by TT miscreants and Secunia trolls to destroy eBay alternatives may be found here   Confusedarcasm1:

River Rat and I are the prime suspects in the eyes of PSUrons but I think the real culprits are the Secunia trolls  :blinkie: ...their site has 138 examples of them bragging about "exploiting" phpBB sites.  Confusedarcasm1:

He must be an eBay employee with a hidden agenda Confusedtolensmiley: because that's the only reason I can see for wanting to fight one of the only companies that has proven it can not only provide an alternative to eBay but also beat eBay.  eBay Eachnet's share of the Chinese auction market was over 60% when Alibaba/Jack Ma's Taobao opened.  3 years later Taobao had a 75% market share and had forced eBay out of China.
I wonder if he has taken care of this in his "flagship" AWW site:
http://secunia.com/advisories/30089/

That's what happens when you buy a copied and modded version of another software (PHPAuction GPL) that didn't work right either and had the same security holes.

He has also been a whistleblower for his own sites:
