If you send me your logo Ms Molly
I can make it go. (I think)  LOL
No two part section either.

Guys and girls..It's FREE so what do you expect?

Icon_salut Okay! So I'll quit whining! But I am so good at it. It is one of my best skills!  Smile

I will remake my logo into one. I split it to work with the sections in the old template. I'll try it, but may have to have you help. I hope I saved the pics so I don't have to take them again. The lighting in here is murder.

I liked the 750 width centered template and the white center section with shading and rounded corners. Any way to add the center section back??  It sure looked much nicer than the "boxy" look of other osC templates. If it was plain old html I could do it in a month or two  ;D, but this new stuff is kinda beyond me right now. :blinkie:

Off to work on that logo!
It's ALL doable. Just have to figure some things out.
Remember we are working in someone elses IDEA.

Some of these guys are realy out there IMO.

I've learned a few things as I do like to tinker under the hood.
So we can get "r" done...
I never understood the 2 part logo crap I've seen.
Other than it makes novices think they can't DO IT so they have to hire someone.  :Smile
Quote:I will muddle through trying to change the template,  but darn!!!  the new one is  ugly!!

Where is this ugly template anyway - one that I can see?

Dammit. I can't ask my friend to do my logo over again.  :'(

XPP, you must have more patience than I have. And I know that you KNOW more than I do. Nutz.  BangHead

Here it is, cranky:

It's a Block-y Box!  :o

Maybe I could help you here.  Smile I like to putz.

I have no patience either....
I'm NOT a doctor so.  Lol

Calm down though. Your logo WILL work on the www.

Breath deep... inhale.. Then pass that motha to me OK?  Wave

Look likes the "other" template will be easy to work with
and you can always modify the look
an manipulate the boxes... so just calm down.  Violent1

Hey can I get a shotgun please?  Lol
That is THE absolute ugliest most gawdawful template I have ever seen.

XPP, there is no way my logo could ever go with that hideous thing. Oh, crap.  :'(

Edited to add: sorry, folks, but there is a story behind the logo and I can't ask for it to be redone. Nor can I have anyone else redo it. I have no idea what I am going to do.
There is a fix for the aabox javascript error listed here:

http://oscdox.com/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t-6888.html
Didn't see that before so I made a fix myself.
Pretty simple. Now I get NO ERROR pages with IE  he he  ;D
Original body tag:

I removed this section of code from the tag and it cleared up the problem.
onload="selectRowEffect(this, 0)"
The new body tag looks like this:

EDIT:  XPP did about the same thing on his store Smile
Hurray!! Regic and X-man to the rescue!!  Common010 Common010 Common010

This sounded a little "tough" for me to remember:

Quote: osCMax v2 Installation issues rc3 on‌load="selectRowEffect(this, 0)" error in IE
Ok, here goes:
Remove the offending javascript from your main_page.tpl.php, then create a new main_page.tpl.php, except name it main_checkout.tpl.php and add the javascript back into this template file.

Then have the checkout_payment.php page use the new main_checkout.tpl.php file instead of the original main_page.tpl.php file. That should solve the issue and allow you to have your default payment module auto selected during checkout...

I will leave you to sweat out the details, but you get the idea.
Thanks Michael, I understand this up the part: "and only have that template load the javascript..." I'll delete it for ther time being.  I will sweat out the details: telling / having / asking the checkout_payment.php page to use the new main_checkout.tpl.php and then remembering that every change I make in main_page.tpl.php to duplicate in main_checkout.tpl.php
