Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
OT:Hi everyone. It looks pretty quiet here today. I was wondering if someone could help me out? At this moment I'm feeling pretty dumb about this. I now have Tulip as my host for my website and all of my pages are uploaded. But now I'm stuck. In my email it statedlease change the DNSes of your domain to the following and allow 24-48 hours for the DNS update. I'm not sure where to do this. Do I somehow do it on the WHOis? site? Many thanks, Bric

I actually know this one !!!
Open your tuliphosting, and go to Custom DNS Records Change the 2 MX ones that are your actual domain name, not the shortcut ones. Hope that helps !! |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Hi ya, I want 1 2. Ahh, so I change it in my tulips panel. Now why didn't they say that. Ok, really quick here then. I'm looking at it now. The 2 MX 1 and MX 2 I change to the ns1.tuliphosting.com and ns2.tuliphosting.com. I don't have to add IP's?

Hi Bric, No need to change anything but the ns part (ns1.tuliphosting.com & ns2). Do not change anything in the .biz addresses either.
I just did this a couple of days ago, so it's still fresh in my mind. (amazing) |

Quote:Please change the DNSes of your domain to the following and allow 24-48 hours for the DNS update. OK, you would change the DNS (name servers) at the place you registered the domain (not in the TH control panel). Login to your control panel at Netfirms and you'll see a section where you can change the name servers. (to ns1.tuliphosting.com, ns2.tuliphosting.com) |

EDIT: The instructions for changing name servers for domains registered through NetFirms.
http://support.netfirms.com/idx.php/0/66...-name.html A. unlock the domain (see http://support.netfirms.com/article.php?id=44 ) B. then: Quote:1. Login to the Netfirms Members Control Panel at http://www.netfirms.com/members and enter the membername and password for your hosting account |
