RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Here's another interesting thread, a prime example of "waggle-think". Who needs to hire those darned, expensive site designers and programmers -- just get a Koolaid-drugged member to do it for us for FREE and since he's a store owner, he'll still have to keep his monthly fee paid. So apart from paying for the privilege he'll be taking time from listing and maintaining his store -- but that's OK because it's for a "higher" good. Such a deal!

Store owner and poster:
"Well I just want to let people know that I won't be on the forums on WP for 7 to 10 days, I won't be listing either. Why? Well I'm taking a crash course on website development to enhance the WPSSU site.  I'm 200% fully Red & blue wagglepopper not only for the long haul I say for life lolol. "

Response from member:

'I am so touched by your selfless dedication and efforts on behalf of myself and other committed Poppers. You are truly a treasure and we are so fortunate to have you among us. If I can offer any support, even be it a financial contribution please don't hesitate to send out a request."

Another:
"Amen"

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote: November, 2006

Well, we’re coming to that time when folks, buyers and sellers both, need to get ready for the coming year-end holidays. It’s a wonderful time of preparation, celebration, recognition, sharing of gifts, catching up with our thank you’s, religious observance and peace and goodwill towards all.

Along with rigorous house cleaning to prepare for our guests, meal planning and trips to the supermarket, decorating, holiday greeting cards and gift giving shopping lists, i.e., who to and what to give, what to spend, where to get it? And of course, how much time do we have to do all this?

Well, we’re devoting this issue of the Club Revolution Newsletter to help you answer those questions and get your preparation plans for the holidays together.

The sellers at Wagglepop are listing new items daily in preparation for the upcoming holidays.

There are over 131,000 items listed at Wagglepop to choose from and lots of them would be great for gift giving. Best of all you can shop from home, safely pay for your items through PayPal and avoid the crowds ~ saving yourself time and money!

Time, money and safety – excellent reasons for doing your holiday shopping at Wagglepop! If you aren’t already registered to shop at Wagglepop, type Wagglepop.com in your browser, click go and you’ll be on Wagglepop’s Home Page. At the very top, under the 3rd button, you’ll see “Register”. Click it. Then you’ll see Wagglepop’s User Agreement.

Right at the top of that page you’ll see: ”As part of the Wagglepop Account Protection & Security Protection Methods, we do not ask for or keep any financial information such as credit card numbers or bank account information on file for any of our members, nor do we do any passive automated billing.

Wagglepop accepts only PayPal to pay all seller account balances. PayPal is completely secure, and there is no charge to send money using PayPal. We use only PayPal as a part of our ongoing effort to help protect our membership in every regard when it comes to online protection and security. Wagglepop is a 100% trust-based community.”

Now, after reading the Agreement, click the “I Agree” button. You will then be asked to provide a User ID, your email address, a password and the country you live in. On the next page you will be asked for your name, street address and phone number. The last page will tell you to check your emails to get your Activation Number. So open another window, check emails, copy your Activation Number, then go back to the Activation page and paste it in the Activation Code box, hit the Next button to activate! Now you’re ready to shop at Wagglepop!

What Are You Waiting For?

Sorry, waggledorks. I didn't really see most of the questions answered. I don't know who wrote the newsletter but it is a mess. On a scale of 1-10, I give it a minus 3000.  Tongue2

Gotta love those pity purchases:

WP Poster:
"On a totally different note, I hope that all buyers and sellers who read these boards are aware that there may be some folks around here who don't want Wagglepop to do well and are just here to plant negative ideas (such as there aren't sales or traffic or the $10./month is a waste, yada yada). Yesterday I bought a total of 5 items from sellers on this thread who wrote of their discomfort due to lack of sales. (I'm NOT Mrs. Moneybags and mostly selected items that I think I can resell or use to make something to sell.)

NOW, THERE'S A SOLID BUSINESS PLAN - not

Quote:Hello Members,

The new Sales Report is now available for the weekly reporting period from 10/23 to 10/29.

Overall sales dipped very slightly to 1762 from 1812 one week prior, breaking our record streak of 16 straight weeks with an increase, which stills puts us considerably ahead of all projections.

We went four months before that dip in the growth curve, which is just remarkable.

The overall trend continues to be one of explosive growth, and we anticipate that will continue through the holiday season Smile

Has Ray got a big head or what? What makes him think that anyone cares?

Sorry, Ray. You and your pathetic little toy just aren't important enough for anyone to sabotage. Besides, we've heard you playing this tune before.  Smileyviolin
