Mmmmm.........cats are way smarter than many people.
Quote:I doubt SB read the OTWA thread, the truth hurts too much. Better to live in the land of kumbaya denial, than acknowledge you have bought a ticket on the Titanic. I believe you are right, Chiquita. |

It was a very good question, Chiquita, and one I've often asked myself. I truly had no clue what Ray/Karen could be doing with the $10K they were getting each month in store fees alone, which is why I asked the question on the WP board, and received that snide, sarcastic response from SB.
Addressing intelligence: I think I have dryer lint with a higher IQ. Shame on me, I shouldn't have said that. AND, excuse me for the stupid question, but what is OTWA and what thread would I look for? Could there be a link put on it from the TT board so that WP lurkers on this thread can check it out? |
Alskling the link is on page 147 of this thread. OTWA stands for Online Traders Web Alliance. Thentavius has some great posts on the thread. It was not a stupid question, I had to look it up also. |

718 stores. The boards are SLOW over in la la land.

718 stores. The boards are SLOW over in la la land.
That's an understatement. Even our dear friend S. Vulgar is nowhere to be found. Just a bunch of violins about biopsies, coming back from hospital vacation, and miscellaneous cheers for store owners reaching certain listing quotas (not sales, just listings). I have noticed that although the store numbers has dropped, several members have recently opened second and third stores, so had these die-hard loyalists not opened more stores, the number of stores would have been even lower. Why these sellers are opening second and third stores, thereby doubling or tripling their monthly fees is a mystery, considering they're not selling enough to pay the fees on the first store. I guess Karen would call that "Waggle think", i.e. increase your overhead and make even less than before. After all, lining Karen/Ray's pockets is what it's really about. Great business strategy -- if your name is Karen/Ray. |

Why these sellers are opening second and third stores. I would lay odds that they were asked to do so by Ray/Karen in order to artificially inflate the store count. : |
