Racedreams, his purple bathrobe and slippers are for everyday.  The new pink one is for holidays! Toothy9

Don't you all find it amusing that the boards are monitored 24/7, poor Karen never gets any time off.  Or is there a time when she is away so we all can play?  Wave

I'm stuffed. Hope everybody is having a great day. Speaking of raybil being karen, I found a few old posts that were written by the so-called CS rep from WP1 Amanda. It sounds just like karen, and many people thought Ray was Amanda too.

Poster on OTWA
Quote:Has anyone else noticed that Amanda aka Wagglepop2 seems to have disappeared. She hasn't posted anything since the 18th.

Do ya think she's already quit? (Assuming she existed to begin with.)

Quote:I guarantee it was an alter-ego. He quit using it because he couldn't handle being nice to his customers. any way to view source and find poster's IP on that forum?

Quote:Amanda said she had weekends off. I think that Ray just couldn't juggle all those IDs 7 days a week

Amanda posting around the time of the closing of WP1
Quote:I guess it's ok now to say that yes, I was Amanda. (Masked name for obvious reasons, the biggest on ebeing that I had set up shop on WP as well.)

Contrary to some of your beliefs so clearly stated here, I am not related to Ray, only shared his excitement about this project. And was equally excited about the position he offered me. Now, I am just as sad to see WP gone, as well as a really nice opportunity to be able to stay at home and work so I could continue to be with my children and still make a decent income.

I did not know that WP was closing until the rest of you did. He called me about 30 seconds before he posted his RIP thread here, so I could at least hear it from him instead of reading about it on a thread.

"Coffee"....I am sorry. Everything I said to you yesterday really did come from my heart, and was a correct analogy of the situation TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE. ray continued giving me customer support answers yesterday, all day, so there was no reason for me to believe that what ultimately did happen yesterday was going to happen.

I do feel like I let a lot of people down too, only because I was the "face" that all of you spoke to. I did my best to provide all of the support I could to everyone in a timely, professional and courteous manner, which is exactly what I would expect of someone in that position. I wanted to be better than eBay's CSR's, I wanted to be more friendly, more professional, respond quickly and just give an overall sense of balance that is so lacking in other venues.

I am sad that WP is gone for so many reasons. Mostly, I am sad that we as a community were let down. And I do not stand in judgement of Ray. I believe in my heart that he did do what he could to the best of his ability, and to judge that is not my responsibilty because I have never walked in his shoes.

Even as I sit here to defend myself (which I really shouldn't have to do), I still know nothing more than any of you in regards to the dismantling of WP. I sort of wish I did.

So, one last time, I am very sorry to all of you who believed my words of encouragement if they effected you negatively. That was never my intention, and when they were 'spoken', I meant and believed everyone of them. It's just too bad I didn't turn out to be right.

Respectfully,

xxxxx (aka Amanda)

Quote:So sad to see you go, and I know ou fought with everything you had. It's a very sad day for me when the good did not ultimately overcome the "evil". How much more sad to see that those with nothing but ill intent, with nothing even to gain, can overcome you and your good intentions.

For myself, and the many hundreds who have supported your vision from the beginning and now through the end, I must say you and Wagglepop will be sorely missed. That your altruistic vision to bring something better to the marketplace will never be realized or appreciated is a sad, sad statement of how our world truly works today.

For everyone on this board who was so hell-bent on destroying not only Ray's vision, but my own and many others for a productive and viable alternative to our own businesses and well-being...I hope that Karma will serve it's purpose in your futures. You really have proven yourselves to be the lowest of the low. Had you even thought for a moment that you were not only attacking Ray as a person and as a businessman, but ALSO the many, many small business owners who were going to rely on this new venture for income and stabilty, maybe things could have turned out differently. It's such a shame that self-serving, jealous and egotistical souls such as yourself should ultimately be victorious in this sinister plan makes me truly sick and disgusted with your portion of the human race.

Ray, my best is with you and your family for a much brighter and happier road ahead, wherever it may lead you. I am proud to have known you and worked beside you.

Sincerely,

xxxxx xxxxxxx

These just scream Ray all over them. Even if he coached what was said, it is just way too similar to not be Ray. Also even back then people believed it was Ray just like so many of us do, even similar spelling errors.

:turkey2: and another one gone....

In all the research I've done on WP 1 and Ray, and now seeing those posts, the similarities are amazing.

Worked for him and set up shop too??  :o    That's one way to raise the numbers.

chillin here too, family just left and I came in to see if anyone was here

Check this out
From WP board policies:
Quote:Regarding posts that are removed, an important distinction need be made between "freedom of speech" and editorial license.

"Freedom of speech" refers to the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America which states:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

The U.S. Constitution is a wonderful and empowering thing. However, in the course of daily life it is too many times confused with the matter which we address now, namely editorial license.

The Help & Discussion Boards are a byproduct of a private enterprise ..... Wagglepop. In providing a public discussion board, one option is to let members post freely, without administration approval. The other option is to have all posts submitted for approval before public display.

Ray is above the constitution! Big Grin

:turkey2:  I took editorial license and chose not to post the rest of the rules he has laid down, therefore I used my right to free speech,  Happy001
