Quote:Ray is above the constitution!

Ray doesn't even understand the constitution. He endorses censorship, plagiarism ( buy it now, adsmart, etc...), oh and don't forget manipulation of listing numbers, possibly sales reports, and making up a false persona aka Karen.

He is the poster boy for how NOT to run a successful business.

Amanda was supposedly Sandy, the lady I suspected of being Karen at times. Sandy said she was Amanda at the time WP1 closed.

Whether or not Sandy is/was Ray.... I don't know.

I think Ray really is Karen this time around. I don't think Sandy's doing it.

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
What thentavius said, except that I'm a bit fuzzy on it being Sandy who was Amanda.

You folks who were not a part of WP-1 do not realize that it was a totally different scenario.  All of the stuff that went on happened BEFORE WP-1 even opened for business.  The anticipation, along with thousands of sellers who were ready to join, was just unbelievable.  Here was this wonderful site that had been *in the works* for THREE years about to open, and he was asking for seller input to be a part of a new site better than anything presented before.

He finally left the boards on FAS after making an unholy mess of them, and talked "Amanda" into being his answer person to try to quell the masses.  Those folks who berated the naysayers after it all exploded still did not believe that all he said were lies, that there was no 3-year preparation (other than maybe bantering the idea around in a bar or something), the auction site was an out-of-the box cheapo that he could not figure out how to program correctly, and it never really functioned properly.  Some of those same people are probably  back over there right now -- still believing in him and the same carp.

It's just not the same scenario.  This time WP-2 opened before he announced it, and he's charging to fill his bank account.  Last time, he announced it three months prior -- and it failed with him losing money on it.

On WP-1, he could not quell the basic questions and problems fast enough, as the crowd was huge.  This time he thinks he's able to do that -- knowing that the sellers who will be staying are the cult addicts only, and he'll be successful for a while in milking them for all they've got.

Same boinktard, different situation.  It's pretty obvious to WP-1ers that ray and karen are one and the same.  Ray loves his boards, and he will make sure he's the one who's in control.........

I don't know if someone already posted this, but here Ray goes again disclosing info.
Quote:Your current balance of $2.25 is due and payable at this time as it exceeds $2.00, the minimum standard for payment.

According to our records, that will be the first payment you've ever made on the account, as you have been below the threshold until this invoicing period.

The bulk of your changes are $0.05 each, for Insertion Fees, Additional Image Fees, and Thumbnail Gallery Fees. You can view all of your fees by clicking the Transactions link in My Wagglepop.

You can make payment by clicking the same Transactions link

Karen - WP Customer Care

the posters reply:

Hi, I recieved a notice in the mail the other day saying I owed WP 2.25 for having an item listed. But my last item ended 9/26/06 and I haven't sold anything since. Why am I being billed? MY WP shows I'm not currently selling anything and it shows the last item I listed ended September 26 as well. Can I get this taken off my account please?

What do you expect from a guy who allowed people's credit card numbers to be visible during WP1
