That is scarey... I have a question and concern for all you puter experts out there... That bulk lister thing he had... I trired to use it and it would not work. Is there anyway possible he has spy software built into it? I really hope not, but as dishonest as he is, who knows.

Posted: Fri Jan 28, 2005 11:14 am Post subject: Good Morning!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And, by the way, it is a good morning.

Every one is.... another day to be alive, and maybe make a difference.

For those curious, I though I'd lay out the entire marketing plan, as well as the plans for Wagglepop in general....

I've ranked them in order of current popularity, for ease of browsing:

1. Spam

Yes, not only are we going to email every single man, woman and child in America several million times per day, I have a secret plan with the Nigerian government to spam the entire continent of Africa.

For nations and households without computers, we are going to pass out tee-shirts that say "I've been spammed", and hold a spam-eating competition for children under 12.

2. Launch Date/"Vaporware"

Alas, it's true. We are actually going to launch in October, 2012, but strapping the software to Evil Knieval's crash helmet, and shooting him out of a cannon on New Year's Eve across the English Channel from London.

If he makes it to Ireland, he's going to run through the street screaming "wagglepop", but in German, to build brand recognition in the European market.

3. Evil Empire

Also true. Evil, we are! We're not actually 5 guys who want to make a difference, working hard to do something rather than just talk about it......

In reality, we are behind bars, in prison, using online access to scam thousands of people out of the incredible income generated by FREE listings.

It's pure genious, I say!

~ Now that the truth is finally out, everyone is now saved form the 'clutches' of this horrible thing, this monster....this abomination to all things online......Wagglepop!

I remember that posting from RR.  I gotta admit that that post was one of his better moments.  Great humor there, Ray.   Wink

Has anyone ever considered that this may have been the first time he WASN'T lying?
[/quote]

He seems to have been right about everything but step #2. Although I have notified my relatives in Ireland to beware of the coming of WP3 in the year 2012. It is kind of funny how he sort of describes the borg collective in #2 though. By the way wagglepop in German is still wagglepop Ray. Maybe he should scream this though "scam Künstler".

I wouldn't be concerned, he's not a programmer just a slick salesman. Besides, the "highly sophisticated and powerful tool" is a flippin Excel spreadsheet. I'm still cracking up over that one.

Wow, I didn't know he was so state-of-the-art. I thought maybe he was keeping records on a abacus.

That was a joke. I think its safe to say that almost nobody uses it due to its highly sophisticated complexity(it doesn't work most of the time)  Happy001

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
A new interesting post by Karen.  I bolded the interesting part.

Quote:Hello Members,

As of today, we are moving ahead with the plans to expand Wagglepop outside of the current boundaries.

Current registrations are limited to the US, the UK, and Canada.

The expansion of allowable registration areas will, over the next few months, be expanded gradually as part of an overall expansion schedule.

The unique element of this expansion is that we will be limiting registration locales that may sell on Wagglepop, in our ongoing commitment to a fair and competitive marketplace, while expanding the area in which buyers may register to browse and buy from the site.

In support of this expansion we will be introducing upgrades to the Registration process, which will include strict verifiable elements and multiple verifications before any new account can be activated.

In the end, we'll have a bigger and stronger marketplace, and a membership body that understands and respects the User Agreement in total Smile

Karen - WP Customer Care

I wonder if opening WP up to other countries is the only reason for the beefed up registration procedure.  :Smile

Perhaps they will allow Chinese sellers to open up free stores to boost the listings.  Happy001

This is probably Ray's way of getting back to the CC required before registering so he can charge sellers fees to their card if they don't pay.

The stricter the registration for buyers the less buyers will sign up.
Good bye all

The credit card registration killed the Yahoo auction growth.  Which is why they finally removed the requirement.
