Listing an item on Wagglepop

when I attempt to preview my listing prior to submittion -- I have problems. Sometimes it goes through immediately -- Sometimes it takes several minutes -- Sometimes it will not go through at all requiring me to start from scratch....

I hope this issue can be reviewed by IT personal -- Taking 15 to 20 minutes to post each listing is unacceptable.

It seems that whenever I hit the preview button once I've created the listing, it just hangs there forever and it ends up in a "page cannot be displayed" error. I have tried over and over and always get the same result. Last night it took about an hour of trying to get one listing done.

I cannot revise the auction format, according to that page I have no auctions. I hit HTML and the full screen editor pops up instead. I hit preview and get time out, page has expired, I hit my wagglepop and get the home page. The list goes on and on.

Here is what I do: I click "sell", click the appropriate radio button to "store inventory." Then I click continue and sometimes I'm lucky if the next page comes up. If I get the category page to come up, I set my cates, click continue and it just sits and hangs there. Eventually if I let it go, it will come up "page cannot be displayed"

Okay, I think I've tried for the past oh...20 min now to update this item of mine. It took approximately 45 min just to get it in our store. When I click "Apply Changes", it just hangs...then after a while I get "The page can't be displayed". .

That brings me to the second issue---technical problems. I have tried with both firefox and IE and have had nothing but problems. I finally managed to get the pages to load sufficiently to open a store yesterday, only to find that I am unable to list even one auction because the pages hang halfway through the listing. I tried to list one auction all day yesterday. Finally, in disgust, I tried to contact them (thru their "contact me" option). You guessed it, the pages hung again and I was unable to do so.

At this point, at WP, I have a store I'm being billed for, but am unable to use. It sucks.

There are several others complaining of similar problems.  Wagglepop's solution:

The site is currently recording a record number of listings, with virtually no general reports of the issue you describe.

Try this:

1. Use an approved browser (IE or AOL Explorer), updated
2. Allow popups and javascript when listing
3. Clear your cache, and reboot

By the nature of the issue you are describing, I believe it's a PC/browser configuration issue.

Check:

1. Update IE fully.
2. Make sure to allow popups and javascript
3. Clear your cache, and reboot

Also, it has characteristics of a connectivity issue, so check with your ISP to see if there are any problems with the routing to and from Wagglepop

Wagglepop has 13691 items now.  Both Waggle and HiBidder have more than 15,000 categories.  Buyers should enjoy browsing all of the empty categories.

I was willing to give it a shot but the whole no VERIFICATION at the Gate has me seeing
no chance in real success. If for some reason the site does become flooded with users the scammers will be right amongst them just like at feebay.

I made a sale on Waglepop last night which was fun of course, but I did see all the threads about people having problems with the site.  I wonder what it could be with wp.  There seems to be hundreds of people who don't have any problems at all, including myself.  The only thing I don't like is that it's a bit glitchy with revising a current listing.  Other than that though, it's pretty streamlined.

I'm going to go ahead and say it here.

I recall and old bud of mine named Sundancel saying just about what you are saying now.
I also recall as a result of her posts on FAS that a handful,
including yourself, were right there to back up all might feebay to the point
some of you had her banned from FAS.

Now that things have come full circle I would think it prudent
of you to publicly apologize to her for your part in the thrashing
of her and a few others you played on those boards that took place,
when all she and others where trying to do was get
YOU (sheep) people to see what she already knew.

Not sure if she even scans the boards much anymore.

But sometimes... a little humility goes a long way. Know what I mean?
