Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Thanks everybody. I was a lone wolf when I departed the Koolaid stand. And because I'm not the kind to go away quietly, I felt obligated to expose the charade to anyone and everyone who would take notice. I was accused of being the devil incarnate back then by some who are now posting here, although I think PS still sees me with a pitch fork and horns.
Quote:IMO, "direct reflection of user support" should be the reflection of the customer service staff as part of the sellers' team. True business people's customer support should be set to a very high standard within its services. A seller's success is a direct reflection on THAT support team. Exactly! I brought this up on the WP back in August and was shot down by a bunch of cheerleaders who kissed KaRay's booty by proclaiming "WP owes us nothing." I don't remember who said this exact quote (I believe it may have been Mr. Kumbaya), but I do remember the quote. I cringed at that retort. Sellers seemed to be blindly following the yellow brick Koolaid path, like sheep led to slaughter. It made me ill and wherever I heard of a Koolaid-drugged, cultist bah-sayer spamming on the boards, I was there to offer a sobering dose of reality. Some were even thanking God for finding WP. Even after one year, KaRay has yet to divulge how WP got its name. Still, nobody has a clue what KaRay looks like and where the site is actually headquartered, and I doubt few even know who runs the site or what Ray's last name is, etc. There are more red flags to this site than wave during a May Day celebration in Tenimin Square, yet some Poppers still look up and insist the sea of red is just a fragrant bed of roses. FOOLS! Thanks, Sherrand, for keeping us up-to-date. I never though H&M would be on your list. But even die-hards can occasionally crash into a reality wall. Anybody know what's happened to Wild Gypsy? Has her Queen for a Day hard luck saga manged to illicit a pity purchase yet? |

Hey, did anyone notice the new store on page 1?
http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/Automoti...Floor-Mats They must have actually figured out that POS bulk lister, because they came out of nowhere in just a couple of days. Wonder how many of those $45-$145 widgets they will sell ? And how long before they figure out the WP logic and run for the light? Any gamblers here? Winner must be closest to total sales, and store closing date. I'll throw $1 into the pot. |

Now here's a brand new registry, who had absolutely no problem setting up a store, has no questions about any of the quirks peculiar to WP or navigating their way through a new set-up. They have no problem conquering the pathetic excuse for a bulk lister either. Wanna hear my take on it? This is a friend/associate of KaRays met through eBay Motors and he/she/it answered all their questions and helped them launch their store. This new seller is probably listing on WP as a favour to KaRay to help bolster the flagging store count and the morale that is dipping right along side of it. I bet they aren't even paying a monthly fee in exchange. I'll have to create a new category for store description. I'll call it 'artificially inflated'. Each listing states, "Actual product may differ from image shown". WHAT IMAGE?? Each listing reads the same with colour and interior location the only change in distinguishing one listing from the next. Each listing is blah, boring and shows no sign of serious intent to sell. This is the act of a desperate man er... whatever.

Has her Queen for a Day hard luck saga manged to illicit a pity purchase yet? [/quote] H&M is Flying High on TT. Might you perhaps have them mixed up with someone else? The Digital Gypsy's store is still there and still empty. They registered April 19th - almost a month ago. Does it make sense that someone would go to the trouble of fleshing out an attractive storefront, creating a tear-jerker Me page and go silent, pay their fee due for May and never list a single item? I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around that one. Another similar situation is BUY DIRECT LOWEST. They registered May 2nd. Their store though is plain, default colours and no categories. It has not listed any product either. With this one I detect the characteristics of a ghost store waiting in the wings.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Here is some more insight.
Another new regristry made on May 6th, Skatty's Designs (to sell templates and logos), have not put one item in their new store in the past 8 days. Are they oblivious to the fact that the meter is running and that they are expected to pay dues for their empty store? Chic Boutique who registered May 7th, is actively selling on eBay. Their WP listings were constructed with photos pilfered from their eBay store and from OTHER eBay SELLERS! I have examples bookmarked as evidence. Would I trust this sellers integrity? - NOT! KaRay, here's to your upcoming anniversary...

Truth, The multiples that I saw are all just different colors. That's an easy way to bolster the listing count.
Now that they're near the top of the poop pile, don't you think it will pi$$ off the store owners that have been in the top spots for months? Suddenly, the number one (or two) lister will be a newbie with ZERO feedback and no track record. I could see this easily back-firing, and dropping morale even lower. Of course, in the land of fruit flavored drinks, they will probably applaude his tireless dedication to listing ALL those items. Who knows ?? |

They spend all their time cheering for the site, and forget they are independent sellers. It doesn't look that way though, and appears more like an employer/employee relationship. :blinkie: |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
And to add to Truth's words about the floor mat guy;
This post on the Community board stinks of KaRay philosophy: Quote:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 14 May 2007 16:41 What is there to understand? POPPERS, you may be fewer in numbers but you are paying faithfully every month. YOUR dedication to WP should be recognized. The faulty and detrimental features that would contribute to healthy sales should be corrected for your sake and as your reward for sticking it out this long. WP wouldn't still be there if is wasn't for your determination to hang on today and that of the many who lost theirs and left. Why on earth hasn't someone on WP suggested that a portion of the 75,000 already alloted for advertising be redirected to fixing priority features that would immediately assist the sellers!!! Good grief, the coffee is brewed - WAKE UP AND TAKE A WHIFF! There never was 75,000 dollars for advertising - just 75,000 excuses as to why the site cannot be improved.
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.
