Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Well I am shocked and surprised. WP made it to a year. Are we going to start placing bets now when the Poppers won't be able to get back in?
There is a new thread started in Advanced Selling about the newest #1 spot seller (item count is 9250). Everyone is praising this person. One person even stated that this person probably wont be invited to the listing contests. ~sigh~ These poor people ... they don't have a clue ..... ~Patti~ |

Quote:That`s pretty impressive,6500 listings in 4 days. I've seen more impressive: Bid-a-lot's listing count jumping almost overnight from 10K to 40K earlier this year after the owner listed 30,000 dropship items. PCMall listing over 100,000 items (no photos or descriptions...just titles) on AuctionCities 2 years ago. Neither one of those two listing extravaganzas was successful in attracting buyers to the sites...the only ones who are usually impressed by listing counts are sellers.
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"
"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site. best way to put it is TULIPTOOLS.COM IS REALLY SHIT. DONT JOIN." -pubescent owner of rinky dink off2auction.com in 2011 |

Store count keeps jumping up and down the last week. It bottomed out at 244 and rose to 250 last night. Y'all notice that the Gab Flies seldom mention the store count these days in the WP forums?
248 Stores found
