I rather liken that to excommunication: punishing the non-believers by denying them access into heaven. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
It appears that Ray is now up to his old con artist routine again.
Check out his eBay store: http://stores.ebay.com/The-Vintage-Paper-Archive It appears he is now offering a Certificate of Authenticity with his pieces of paper and magazine cutouts. Read the new store page about the COA's. The COA is from the Vintage Paper Archive (and he is registered where?) and even has a nifty hologram! Not only are these now Authenticated by one of the biggest cons in the online auction community, but they magically tripled in value, and cost an extra $1.80 to ship an extra ounce of paper. I wish everyday I had never wasted nearly a year paying this con man, and these fake COA's give me a more evidence that he is truly a liar. Ray's goal of the month: Ripoff at least 50 more sellers on Wagglepop to fund his inkjet printed "dynamic" Certificate of Authenticity. P.S. It seems the top poppers are now trying to catch up with Ray's Floormat store. Unfortunately though, they must do it one by one since Ray is the only one who can use the Inventory Direct sheet. Finally, The first seller in months broke 5,000 items! Hooray! Way to go! Optimize that search with more products so 1 new buyer will register by phone this month.

Okay, I have heard of COA's for very expensive things like collectible stamps, currency, etc.
Why on earth would anyone want a COA for a magazine cutout - or am I just stupid? Is grading these like in the third grade where you passed your paper to the person behind you?
I hate stupid people!

Listings are down 7,000 this month to 86,000 151 stores [/quote] Yep, one of the big cheerpoppers left... SillyWilly's Toys and Collectibles with 2,229 listings according to the cache from 10/15. They haven't started the clearing of "deadbeat" sellers this month, so expect it to drop below 140 stores and 80,000 listings next weekend. Funny, Ray says that these sellers don't know what trust is... But his own site policies are lies. When I tried to close my store, it took them many, many days after my request for them to respond, until my subscription had renewed... and they just "suspended" me as a deadbeat seller for not paying

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Update: 150 stores.
COA for a magazine cut-out? What a crock. Ray obviously went to the Snake Oil Salesman school of marketing. So what does the COA say? "This is an authentic cut-out ad from a magazine. Not a photocopy." BFD! Next thing you know he'll be dreaming up fake "provenance" to go with his COAs and charge another $5 for it. Once a boinktard, always a boinktard. |
