Introducing Ray's Newest Sock Puppet Marcus Quote:Just a general refresher on exactly how different our Community Board Participation Policy is from most communities, and the higher standards and responsibilities we hold all members to as a requirement for participation. For most this is unnecessary but I think now is a good time for a reminder.
And what prompted that deja vu rant? Is there unrest in Poopville? Quote:happy people are allowed to be happy here, but miserable people must be that somewhere else - Translation for all Poopers: "Your are FORBIDDEN from being unhappy about your lack of sales, poor page traffic, inability to search completed auctions for comps, lack of promised marketing or anything else you feel is lacking about WP that might affect your success in the world of on-line commerce. If you're not willing to fall into abject poverty, singing and dancing all the way as you pray to the great fuzzy-slippered WP god, you will be called an idiot with no business sense and your arss will HIT THE BRICKS. Thank you very much for your consideration." |

Marcus of WP:
Quote:happy people are allowed to be happy here :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: Let's all bow in reverence to the grand boinktardio who has given Poopers PERMISSION (and now for a moment of silence) to be "happy" by divine decree. And what is "happy?" Goosestepping to the beat of the WP philosophy, saluting the WP swastika as they blindly march by, like a herd of loyal, brainless, selfless soldiers (lemmings). And what is "unhappy?" Asking questions. My contention still stands. WP is a cult not a serious e-commerce site. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
An example of WP's "best SEO of any venue" at work:
WP founding member Wrote:I know for a fact that all of this works. I just googled my own store name - xxxxx xxxxx - and it came up with 7 pages of items with my business name in it The Google search of her store name returns 311 results and a site:wagglepop.com/stores/xxxx search returned only 106 results. Her store has almost 3,500 items so over 96% of her items are nowhere to be found in a Google search Just to be an asshole I decided to Google one of my store's names and the search returned 33,900 results and a site:mystore.com search returned 18,000 results. My store has 10,800 items so based on the search results almost all of my store items are indexed by Google . Yes Virginia, WP really does have the best SEO in the world...NOT. ;D |

Moving over to Google Base
An analysis of ASPs (average selling listing prices) on WP 20,861 items under $3 18,760 items $3-$6 10,002 items $6-$10 18,057 items $10-$40 10,470 items over $40 summary: 2/3 of the items listed on the site have an ASP below $10 and 50% have an ASP below $6. By contrast, Base shows that less than 10% of items on eBay have an ASP below $6. |

Her store has almost 3,500 items so over 96% of her items are nowhere to be found in a Google search Do that same site search on WP's largest store. Only 48 results for a store with 19,200 items : Or better yet, search on the store's name: 6 results (3 of them non flattering links from TT and Auctionbytes). I think it's safe to say that with virtually no exposure in Google Search (after being open nearly 1 year) that store isn't getting very many (if any) buyers from Google's regular search engine. Quote:a site:mystore.com search returned 18,000 results. Actually that store has 20,300 pages indexed this morning in Google...and 14,400 results in TheFind (which doesn't index WP stores :imptongue: )
Yes Virginia, WP really does have the best SEO in the world...NOT. ;D
Ray doesn't need any SEO skills...all he needs is the ability to BS the naive, clueless, and gullible into believing that he has great SEO skills.
