The Javascript blocker. Most of the posting functions use javascript or Ajax which is based on javascript.

A lot of things have changed with oscmax that are not in their user manual / guide.
Manipulating or completely removing certain elements is what got me to where I could manage the look and feel more to my liking. I'm finding there are really fewer elements you really need to play with to achieve this too. Most changes can be maid via the main_page.tpl.php in aabox.
and others can be altered changed in the various .tpl.php files located in the templates/fallback/content/directory
(But again their are exceptions to this too.)

Like to change things in your site map you need to go to the sitemap.tpl.php
There you can comment out links your not using and add links you want to.
That file resides in templates/fallback/content/directory

You obviously figured out how to change the fonts using the styesheet.css file as well,
so you are closer than you think till the light bulb comes on and you begin to understand somewhat the method of the authors madness as to the way they set this entire
dynamic program up.

Basically Molly just ask about things as they come up on your list of things you want to change.
I didn't document all the things I did or what files I altered,
but was able to do them mostly by a bit of trial and error
and using the oscmax tutorials as a partial guide and spending
many hours looking for hints on the forums.

As far as re setting the page views. If you find out how please let me know.

Darn! I rebooted and now when I hit the preview button I get FireFox downloader saying I have chosen to open index.php, where should they save it. ???!!??

Guess I'm not smart enough to play with the buttons! At least now I can see the smileys and quotes in posts, just can't do it myself.

for some of the files that are pulled when you site comes up.
Not all but some come from include/english and a lot of other places too.
Tha'ts way I said one thing at a time as they "come up".
