The more everyone fiddles with them, the more eBay ranks the "traffic." Even if it's to create a parody, they're still counting the hits as positive.

You're probably right. But, then you'll miss all the fun. We are using our pages to express our feelings towards ebay. Amy's is hilarious!!

I'm with thentavius.
I'm not touching it.

I put an invisible counter (not from Andel either)
on my me page once for several months a couple of years ago.
The count was very low and ebay KNOWS the counts are low on all the fluff too.

This whole round or ridiculous BS they have been coming out with is nothing but
one big distraction after another in hopes to keep at least some people on the sinking ship to keep picking their pockets just one more quarter.

Just like the Titanic.

Remember they had the band playing as the ship was lisping?

I disagree with you Xp. I think they are testing the MyWorld pages as replacements for Me pages. On the MW pages , you are not allowed to use any html, etc.
It seems to me that they have two motivations going on here:

1)They are simply looking to plug holes.

2)They are hoping to benefit from the popularity of MYSpace.

JMHO.

But all this stuff obviously has mutiple reasons behind it.
