Re: Art and Artists
I am in AZ and have heard of the school you are referring to. My daughter checked into it. She REALLY draws well... always has, but she changed her mind about pursuing it.
Right now, "job hopper" seems to be her goal. |

Re: Art and Artists
Thanks for the note, Belli. I'm kinda braindead today, or else I'd dive right in. There's so much that can be discussed.

Anita, are you in Arizona? There is a school in Scottsdale (art) that has some of the best life-drawing classes (and finest male models :blinkie: ) in the country. Many of the teachers also teach at The Art Students League in NY. I took a couple of workshops from David Leffel there and loved them. So anyway, just take a class, girl. Enjoy. Stardust, I need frames!
I need a few frames, plein aire style, at least 1/2" rabbetts, pref gold gilded. Simple, but elegant.
Whatcha got? |

Re: Art and Artists
1) Size, belle. Size.
2) Why 1/2" rabbett? Almost impossible to come up with other than a molded frame -- which usually aren't worth looking at unless they're super ornate -- because of the imperfections. 3) Wide or narrow? 4) Heavy paint or delicate paint on the painting? |
