I am in AZ and have heard of the school you are referring to.  My daughter checked into it.  She REALLY draws well... always has, but she changed her mind about pursuing it. 

Right now, "job hopper" seems to be her goal.

Oh, is this the blonde daughter? Lol, my 17year old may be pursuing similiar goals (job-hopping)!

Many of the teachers also teach at The Art Students League in NY.

I took a couple of workshops from David Leffel there and loved them.

I thought that too, but surprisingly, you slip into your right brain and become sort of a clinical observer.

I need a few frames, plein aire style, at least 1/2" rabbetts, pref gold gilded. Simple, but elegant.

Whatcha got?

1)  Size, belle.  Size.
2)  Why 1/2" rabbett?  Almost impossible to come up with other than a molded frame -- which usually aren't worth looking at unless they're super ornate -- because of the imperfections.
3)  Wide or narrow?
4)  Heavy paint or delicate paint on the painting?
