The silence [sneaky and BBH] around here is suddenly deafening.
The lack of transparency and ego/powertrip problems were inevitable. It wouldn't be a sellers group without them. I can't comment on the deleting and locking of threads on the IMA boards because I visited their boards a few times last Fall, decided they were useless to my business, and I haven't read them since. Censorship on the IMA boards wouldn't surprise me though since the PeSA boards suffered from the same problem. I could comment on what I think of the :peepants: who didn't like the eBay bashing on the IMA boards...but I won't. tolensmiley: note to the :peepants: - the use of the :peepants: smiley is only my personal opinion and is not a statement of fact...no need to send me a C&D mileyazwipe: (note: the use of the mileyazwipe: smiley is also purely my personal opinion and is not a statement of fact) tolensmiley:
agenius blog Wrote:What is wrong with joining trade groups? note to the :peepants: - the use of the :peepants: smiley is only my personal opinion and is not a statement of fact...no need to send me a C&D mileyazwipe: (note: the use of the mileyazwipe: smiley is also purely my personal opinion and is not a statement of fact) tolensmiley:
Just another dumbass in love with C&D's. Does :peepants: even know that you can't take legal action because someone expresses an opinion? Never mind.....the idiots who do the C&D's are usually too stupid to understand how they should and should not be used. |

Poll: Would you put a whine and bash fest on your business's blog or would you use a separate blog for your rants?
The latest of too many to count anti-IMA board of director posts. http://aswas.typepad.com/hall_of_fame/20...fro-1.html Would you put this on your business blog or would you confine your rants to a place like TT where your customers and potential customers won't read them? http://aswas.typepad.com/hall_of_fame/20...peopl.html

Is that a marketing blog?
They provide design and consulting (i.e. selling advice) services to eBay sellers > click me
Quote:Would you put this on your business blog or would you confine your rants to a place like TT where your customers and potential customers won't read them? Duh!
doh.

Triple doh duh! Plastering links to a dozen anti-IMA rants and a blog article bashing a potential customer on the front page of your business site ranks right up there with sellers at small eBay alternatives who put an anti-eBay diatribe on the front page of their store. At least the sellers who do it aren't charging people for selling advice ("consulting"). Doing it is a sure way to make potential customers hit the back button and take their business to your competitors. Quote:Are Patrick Byrne and the Sith Lord allowed to vote in the poll? Only if Patrick's father is also allowed to vote because he'd also vote doh duh (unlike Patrick) |
