Quote:Registered the same day as the cheerleader
registered 8 days after her October posts on PSU in which she said HB wasn't for sale and less than 2 weeks after Rich tried to sell the old database
Questions:
1. is Rich out of the picture and Recordlady the new owner?
2. what happened to the 5400 member database: was it destroyed or is it still floating around --and who has it if it still exists: RecordLady Liz or Rich?
3. how many more times will Richie be sued - he's been sued twice in small claims since late August and his ex-partners June 2009 lawsuit against him is still active (

Who is the marketing genius responsible for hiding these HiBidder-2 boards :

Credits to be used for what? The site claims to be 100% free*

*100% free that is unless you count the mandatory $5 seller verification fee

One of the challenges facing eCommerce and auction sites in general is that the seller not always receives their funds upon a successful sale. This is a problem that arises very often where it is impossible for the buyer and seller to meet. We think weâve found a solution. We call it the HiBidder Quikpay Protect Payment Guarantee.
With HB Quikpay Protect Payment Guarantee, the seller is guaranteed their funds from the buyer within 14 days or HiBidder.com pays you!

I'm assuming HiBidder's new owner won the lottery
arcasm1: because a few fraudulent high dollar transactions could put HB on the hook to sellers for several thousand dollars. If they can't afford to do even minimal paid advertising like Adwords how do they think they're going to be able to meet their Quikpay payment guarantee obligations?
On a related note, suggested reading for those who spend their days in rinky dink chat rooms isolated from the real ecommerce world : the 2010 Cybersource Online Fraud report:
http://forms.cybersource.com/forms/Fraud...YBSwwwQ109
from the same post:
Quote:we are committed to working diligently on verifying each and every member before they initiate a purchase. The steps we take include a phone call to each new member BEFORE account activation can occur
Requiring phone verification before a buyer can buy a $4 item that is available on dozens of other sites is in itself a very effective fraud prevention method: no buyers=no fraud risk. :

HB's forums are now readable without registering...obviously.

Lloyd's of London is the underwriter for eBay's buyer protection program. Who is underwriting HiBidder's seller protection plan? Clearwater-Costa Rica Insurance LLC? :twistedevil: The amount they collect in "small one-time fees" from program participants won't be enough cover their potential liability if they don't have an insurer backing the program.

Actually, you guys should add yourselves as the BIGGEST boinktards on this planet. Just a bunch of cry-babies that have nothing better to do with their lives than to try and destroy others. If you ever get a life, the world just might be a better place.

Certain pests need to be destroyed, otherwise, they will spread waste and disease.
If the loser site owners would just get real jobs and stop infesting the internet with their diseased sites, the world would be a much better place. Better yet, maybe they should learn what is really needed in order for their sites to succeed. Instead, they slap together some site and expect to rake in the big bucks. It's just plain laziness and stupidity, and they deserve to fail.
Glad the thread annoyed you enough to join and post
Sneaky gives 2 reasons this thread exists
1. Incompetent owners who lack the knowledge needed to build a viable alternative for sellers:

How hard is it to copy and paste an SSL certificate into CPanel?
2. Owners who bullsh.it sellers:

Surely his post is a joke.
HiBidder had less than 5K visitors for the entire month of December 2010. Twern't mucha' nothin' before and it's pathetically less now. The new
front person co-owner has a tough row to hoe between that site's history and her limited marketing skills.
