Is their chart accurate?  They have 2 numbers for Online Auction on the list. The first 2.3 mill number is BS.  Online has a banner ad at the top of the list  :Smile
Now they say DOWN -156846 as we speak...  8)

I have no clue as to their accuracy.

Ebay is apparently blocking MedVed.  No stats for today -- since 2am

Edit: Now it says UP +825285.  What is this?  Typical doublespeak?  >Sad
re OLA - apparently the top number, with the overinflated counts, is for total ITEMS listed, not listings.  The bottom number, way down the list, is for listings.

So, say on OLA if someone lists an eBook with 10000 available, that counts as 10000 for the top number and only one for the bottom.
More press coverage of striking eBay UK sellers:

From the BBC:

Quote:Unhappy eBay traders boycott site

Unhappy professional eBay traders have staged a boycott of the online auction site to protest at a rise in fees and a drop in the visibility of their items.

Ebay said about 100 UK traders were involved, although participants said more than 300 took part in the action.

The boycotting traders are all members of eBay's "shop sellers" subscription service, which allows them to run online stores linked to the website.

Quote:eBay Strike in UK Makes Headlines, US Sellers Bothered over eBay Promo

Tuesday was not an easy day for eBay as international fallout over its Stores policies continued.

In North America, sellers are upset with eBay's latest promotion and how it may effect the fees they pay for Store listings. The 2-day "Store-to-Core" promotion allows sellers to move listings from their Stores to the core (non-Stores) platform for 10 cents, a significant bargain over regular core listing fees

But sellers say that 7-day core listings would expire after the new higher Store fees go into effect. While sellers who leave listings in Stores can relist them for 30 days at the current 2-cents per listing fee, those who move listings to core and then move unsold items back to Stores on or after August 22 will pay the higher Store listing fees...
