Quote:Well - if I remember correctly, you were using an eBay ID of "boinktard" - maybe if you didn't want to be called that, you should have chosen another posting ID?

Maybe Amy has a sense of humor? :Smile
Uhm yeah, I think she does, that's why I put a  Big Grin at the end of my sentence...
Gee, didn't quite get that. :Smile

As always, I do appreciate your straightening me out. Big Grin
I'm sorry Kat I "assumed" she may have meant
you because if I'm not mistaken,
you are an accountant and are a member of this forum.

So I guess my assumption made an asp out of me.  :Smile

OH I do stand by the rest of my statement though.  ;D

If I may inquire do you still own stock in ebay/PP and are you still a Voices member?

Again sorry for my assumption.

On a side note:
After so many have TRIED just about everything possible
for SO LONG other than an angry mob of sellers storming ebay
HQ and physically removing Meg and her management team and slapping
around the morons who keep coming up with stupid stuff
and tinkering with the site just to justify their paychecks.

I'm sure you can understand the frustration of some when it comes
to the utter and complete incompetence
we have witness over the last few years over there.

Hey some of you who STILL try to rely on ebay's platform for a livable wage
may want to consider that angry mob thing but I suspect if the
management keeps screwing up and the stock keeps
going down a board room mob may just do the deed for you.  Laughing7
Boinktards? Ebay haters? Are either of these terms or accusations really getting people's feathers ruffled? Is everybody just becoming way too sensitive or am I missing something here?

Not really. And, nothing to worry about certainly. Perfectly logical assumption . Smile

Your first question implies that I've owned stock in eBay/PP in the past.  I do not now, nor have I ever held stock in either company directly.  As I've stated in the past when you've asked this same question of me, its possible one or more of the options held in my 401K has some, I don't keep track at that level of detail.

Yes, I do still participate in the Voices of the Community Program.

Apology accepted.
landofsmiles really no big deal to me.
I just felt like ruffling a few feathers and was curious as
to who Amy was referring to.

Seems I did just that. Laughing7

Thanks Bell.. I thought it was a perfectly logical assumption too.

Kat
Thanks for clearing that up for me I forgot that you didn't invest in ebays stock.

Smart girl.  Jerk

One last question if I may.

Do they server  Smileykoolaid at those Voices meetings?

If so PLEASE don't drink it OK.

Hey I'm just kidding with you Kat.
Your a very intelligent and knowledgeable ebayer and I know
you don't drink the juice anymore...
At least many of your post seem to indicate that over there.  Wave

FREE Kool-aid will be served next month.  Bring the family, bring your friends, a fun weekend is guaranteed for all!

Rabble Rouser, eBay hater, whiner, complainer, etc.  None of those names bother me.  If the shoe fits...

I do find it funny when someone assumes they are personally being called a cheerleader and then tht person trys sooooo strongly to state otherwise.  FOR THE RECORD, that is a general comment... not directed to anyone in particular.

As far as "boinktard," I find it funny and along the same lines as "maroon."  I never saw it as being rude... but then I'm not easily offended.

None of it really matters.

All that is wrong with eBay is not eBay's fault... it is the government's.

Guess I should have written this on my rambling thread.   Big Grin
