I just ran a trace from dnsstuff.com (their server is located in Virginia) and there was a timeout at:
205.178.191.10 AS6245
NETWORK-SOLUTIONS [Timeout] 0 miles [+0] 245 CA Unix: 2:19:04.236
The 2nd trace there was congestion at netsol too.
Everything from NY is fine though (and your site is loading fast)

Thanks, BBH.
I'm getting really sick of the Network Solutions congestion. I'll be calling them tomorrow.
I bet I'm going to have to do the site all over again--this time with software and Dreamhost.

Ditto the fast in NY on both our cable and DSL connections.

OK! Still working on the new X Cart site, but here's a preliminary draft.
I'm having trouble with the way it displays in IE.
If you have both FireFox and IE, can you please do me a favor?
In Firefox, the site looks OK. It fills the screen up just fine. The center table (with the square department icons) stretches to both of the side column menus nicely:
http://www.plasticpumpkin.com/store/xcart/home.php
If you look at this same page in Internet Explorer, however...
There's a big vacant column between the left orange menu and the start of the department icon table.
I've tried tweaking the table size, templates, and everything I can think of. There's still a big ugly white gutter between the left menu and the square graphics table in Internet Explorer. FireFox looks great, though...??

It's looking good in FF but I am seeing the vacant column on the left side. Did you try validating your code at W3? It's great at catching coding errors.
PS//How do you like x-cart at this point?
