AM's lack of a social media strategy is preferable to Plunderhere/Alsoshop/[insert any site that bought binaryweb's asinine twitter spammer mod]'s clueless social media strategies.
What's up with all of the AtomicMall selling IDs on eBay?

Seller from Philadelphia, PA (Mr Pound  for Pound Rah Rah Sis Boom Cheerleader): atomic*mall
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=atomic*mall&ftab=AllFeedback

Seller from Kowloon, Hong Kong: atomic-mall
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=atomic-mall&ftab=AllFeedback

The AtomicSpammer himself: atomicmall
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=atomicmall&ftab=AllFeedback

The pound for pound cheerleader has managed to spam the Atomic Mall name 8,440 times on eBay with his feedback message "go nuclear with the Atomic Mall".  Way to go boinktard!

120 million links and they all say "Patch is a boinktard"

Promoting someone else's business and brand rather than your own, and jeopardizing your existing business relationships in the process (e.g. Patch's 8,440 eBay rules violations) isn't the way to build a viable long term business.  BangHead

edit:
Quote:Seller from Kowloon, Hong Kong: atomic-mall

The items ship from HK but eBay's member search lists the location as New Jersey.

Here's the ID history for those 3 IDs:

It's interesting that Mikey and Patch both changed their IDs to atomicmall on the same day.

AtomicMall ditched the rented Proboards and replaced it with the hacker community's all-time favorite security hole ridden forum script phpBB...and in keeping with the rinky dink tradition pioneered by sites like Alsoshop, AM's new forum uses a completely different template than the main selling site and is devoid of any navigation menu (specifically a link to the selling site).

From the new forum:

seller 1:
Quote:Something Isn't right with Google Analytics

I been watching my Analytics for a few days now and according to Google I have had no visitors for 3 days, however I have noticed an increase of hits on my items in my store. Can anyone explain why this is happening.
seller 2:
Quote:I have found GA to be inaccurate. It usually only records about 1/3-1/2 of the actual hits I get in any of my shops on any given day. I'm not sure why this is.

Ummm..'why this is' is because GA's tracking doesn't artificially inflate stats like Mikey's counters do by counting page refreshes, multiple visits from the same person during one session, visits by bots, etc. Duh!

I find the complete lack of journalistic integrity shown by Patch in his Examiner AtomicsMall puff pieces to be far more interesting.  He somehow forgot to mention in those articles that his eBay IDs were atomic*mall and atomic-mall, and in the process he managed to violate all 7 rules of the "act independently" section of the SPJ's code of ethics...quite an accomplishment.

(disclosure: this troll majored in journalism at NYU and has a longstanding dislike for writers and publications who try to pass off advertising or promotional pieces as news articles or reviews).

January Compete stats: AtomicsMall unique visitors down 26.6% from the previous month, total visits down 18.8% from the previous month; yearly change in unique visitors: down 20.5%

56,623 unique visitors for 241,593 listings (0.23 visitors per listing, 0.33 visits per listing >)

Once upon a time AM's visitors per listing were better than Mikey's object of jealousy Bonanzle.  Not any more.....

visitors per listing:
eBay 1.84
Amazon 0.93 < Ecrater 0.54
Bonanzle 0.26
AtomicsMall 0.23
Alsoshop 0.20
iOffer 0.14 << do * in the search box for totals, over 8 million listings (only a handful of which aren't illegal  Confusedtolensmiley: )

visits per listing:
eBay 14.68
Amazon 4.51
Ecrater 0.88
Bonanzle 0.51
Alsoshop 0.34
AtomicsMall 0.33
iOffer 0.27
pound for pound ....  Puke
pound for pound nobody can compete with Woot's visitor per listing ratio of 2.17 million uniques for every listing. Lol
Well, good thing I didn't waste much time there. Tony is just too lazy to do any advertising. Can't start a site and just think people will flock to it.

Good to see nothing has changed much. AM is still a sorry site, and now the forum looks about as sorry to. I guess 0" Member couldn't affor the $25 a year....LOL
A. Why would anyone want this???
B. Does "almost identical" mean 'clone everything but the yakking blue font Nimrod mod'? Happy001

Adding an Authorize.net gateway to AM was a good move on Mikey's part.  Thumbsup
