That might require them to use more brain cells than they have available, lol.  Happy001

I don't understand their complacency about the 6 days of downtime this month and the security problems.  If eBay went down for an hour the same people who are defending Mark would be over on PSU having a fit.

I agree. Either they've managed to blind themselves to the incompetency of the owner, or they are simply ......stupid. Maybe those two scenarios are one and the same.  :blinkie: Laughing7

Spending money on a "fast server" is a complete waste of money if you're an IDIOT who uses the default configurations of Apache and MySQL because you're too stupid to know how to optimize them.

This forum's home page (hosted on a Core 2 Dual Core) is about the same size as PH's home page (hosted on a Core 2 Quad Core).  Notice the difference in response times:
PH Wrote:Response Time:   11.322 sec
Size:   114802 bytes
TT Wrote:Response Time: 0.672 sec
Size: 116557 bytes

PH is totally wasting their money on that faster processor because they have an IDIOT running the show.

I just love it when you talk like that.  Happy001 Happy001

This might be the first time I've seen a site have slower load times after it moved from a shared server to a dedicated server.  Confusedtolensmiley:

Well whatever you do, don't say that on the PH forum.  Your post will get deleted.

And just in case that one gets pulled too...
