Flounderhere Wrote:Script Move......Sunday....

Well its that time, we have done a ton of work on the new Probid site
and I know by next week our new design will be ready so I had to make
a decision as to when programmers can move the script.

We need to take the site offline for approximately 8 hours and will do it
on Sunday 10th August during the day.

All your personal info, listings, feedback, credit, stores will go across but
categories will not.

You will need to adjust your listings in order for them to appear in correct
categories,(after the move) if you so wish there will be a bulk lister you
can use to do this.

Also many of you may not see your stores active so you will need to simply
go into your admin and turn them on.

There will be other things you will need to do or be aware of and we will
post them in forum as fast and as best we can to make the transition as
easy and painless as possible.

I am going to turn all fees off except for FVF and verification fees giving you
time to mess about with the features till end of August and then I will give
one month for those not verified to become so or risk being suspended by
end of September as enough notice has been given already.

The SEO of the site is being totally redone too along with a design that will
not even closely resemble all the other Probid sites.

The whole look of the site will liven up dramatically and there will be many
payment options built in already to this whereby you can activate direct
payments to you through each auction via Google checkout, Paypal,
Moneybookers, Paymate and other options too.

Verifications and Ebay importing will become automated so once done will
show on your account without any human intervention, I will also allow
importing from a few other selected sites to help you along too.

Plunderhere owner whining and spewing negativity from Malaysia Wrote:We dont expect everybody to be happy but going by the response to move
which exceeded 99% we had no option to get the hell of this old script and
get on to the new.

There are those after the move who will get on and modify their listings
accordingly and get on with it, those who don't I have to say I have no time
for and nor do I want to read or put up with the whining and negativity.

Boinktard

Binarywebs (AQRay), whose livelihood depends on sellers being misled and scammed into listing on sites like Plunderhere where they'll receive few sales, is handling the move.

18 hours of downtime and counting...

It's returned.  56,635 items that need to be edited.

Mark suspended all users who owe more than 25:

marktard Wrote:Well we are on the new script now.
All users who owe in excess of $25 debit will be suspended until
we receive a kindly donation to correct this overlooked matter LOL!

Now with so many operating payment gateways there is no more excuses!

Mark responds to sellers who are complaining about having to edit all of their listings:

marktard Wrote:You know you have to edit your items so get on in there or leave
them as they are.

In comparison to the work we have done to bring you this it doesnt
even come close so lets all work together to get this site sorted as
we sure aint sat here playing cards while you have maybe a bit of
work to do LOL! And some 'a lot'!

If the site had crashed you'd be begging to have something you could
edit!

The guy is a total loser who does not comprehend that these sellers are his customers.

Just another reason that his site is doomed to failure.  Boinktard

The importance of a good education
Princeton graduate---->Ebay CEO, lives in a mansion
High school dropout--->McDonald's  floor sweeper, lives in a van down by the river

PH lister Wrote:I've spent several hours this morning with the intention of fixing my items and trying to move forward. However, my items keep duplicating, and I'm 'stumped' on the best process to edit my items.

I thought I had it figured out....and it was fine until the items started relisting and duplicating themselves.

I did notice that the site's listings are growing each hour/half hour. My gut says I'm not the only one with duplicating listings.

He renewed it today after reading your post.  :Smile
PH Members don't realize this...
If Mark gave a damn about them (can I say that?) He would upload the freakin' bulk lister onto the server, so they could download their listings to edit them. If he gave a damn about them, he would have just done this from the start instead of already having a month full of glitches and downtime to move servers. If he gave a damn about them, he wouldn't have lied and said that the Rscript flaws were the reason for the change... It worked just fine for PH before he took over. I'm not saying it was good for them, but the site had very few glitches before Mark started messing with it.
So far with a full day, only 782 items have been edited by over 400 sellers.

1 plunderhere.com 51.3 KB 4.08 seconds 0.08 seconds

4 webidz.com 62.19 KB 1.36 seconds 0.02 seconds

Maybe the site's a$$ draggin' server is the reason?
Or could it be that the "fully rebuilt from the ground up" script that looks the same as the script from the last 2 years, was really just a ploy to sell more PHPProbid licenses. I don't see any differences myself. Maybe it's that bug every www.never-be-anything-close-to-ebay-but-i-want-you-to-feed-my-ego.com auction site owner gives to sellers, that "I'll lead where you follow master" mentality.
