Good post, XW.

He is also putting himself at risk of having numerous lawsuits filed against him for defamation/libel. His libelous statements about certain individuals, including myself and BBH, are all easily proven to be false in a courtroom, and are not protected speech.
It is a pity that he doesn't understand the definitions of "libel" and "defamation". Telling the truth is not libel, and that is what we have done here.

I think he should sue that Amy
Switzer person whoever she is.
I read the Exposing Fools site. From the description Ray gave of that Amy
Switzer person's signature I think that Amy
Switzer person must have copied Amy's signature! :blinkie:
Amy should sue that Amy
Switzer person for copyright infringement if that Amy
Switzer person copied Amy's signature and is using it on some other board.

I just might sue Amy Switzer if I find out where she lives. ;D I've only seen the name Amy Switzer twice in my life: once when some total idiot registered the name as a user ID on Alsoshop and the second time when it was posted on the Alsoshop affiliated Exposing Tulip Fools hate site by the shoe box condo hillbilly fisherman. The old saying is true:
ASsuming really does make some boinktards look like even bigger
ASses.
I thought Amy's last name was Tulip until I met her at IRCE this year.
For a textbook example of a violation of ICANN rules on providing correct contact information, travel back to January 2007...
Auctionquests WHOIS showed the address as "Yukon Territory, Zimbabwe" from December 2006 until late August 2007
Quote:Domain:Â Â Â auctionquests.comÂ
Cache Date: 2007-01-01
Registrar: GO DADDY SOFTWARE, INC.
Registrant:
  S.Ray & Tyna Walker-Lay
  +1.7277813007
 , Yukon Territory 1
  Zimbabwe
Another textbook example of a violation of ICANN rules (the "registrant must be a legal entity" rule) occurred in August 2007 when the registrant was changed to Auctionquests LLC - a "company" which doesn't appear on a search of state corporate records.
Quote:Domain:   auctionquests.com Â
Cache Date: 2007-08-31
Registrar: GODADDY.COM, INC.
Registrant:
  AuctionQuests, LLC
  3438 East Lake Road
  Suite 14 OMB 652
  Palm Harbor, Florida 34685
  United States
Yet another textbook example, this one from July 2008, of a site which has improperly listed a non-legal entity as the registrant -also in violation of ICANN rules
Quote:Domain:   auctionquests.com Â
Cache Date: 2008-07-24
Registrar: GODADDY.COM, INC.
Registrant:
  AQ
  1100 Sheldon Drive
  Newark, Delaware 19711
  United States
Incidentally, in August 2008 Auctionquests joined the ranks of rinky dinks who hide their ownership with private WHOIS.
note: a listing of other sites which hide their ownership may be found on the Channel Traffic Rankings chart -the sites listed in purple hide their ownership
The WHOIS of ANY site associated with these boinktards is a walking ICANN violation and yet they require sellers identities to be verified.
Plunderhere's WHOIS right after MoPuppet took over in 2007: violations (non-legal entity as registrant, fake phone and fax numbers)

Alibaba boards Wrote:Most companies on these B2B websites are scam artist. They have fake addresses and phone numbers. Check to see if their phone and fax number are the same, what's up with that. If they give you a cell phone number, think about this. Do you know of any companies with 50 to 100 employee's and the only way to contact them is through the CEO's cell phone.

I believe the same word of caution would apply when considering doing business with any Florida "company" which lists a non-existent LLC and an ALLTEL cell phone number as the main contact number on its WHOIS records - especially when principals of the business have in the past falsely listed their business location as
"Yukon Territory, Zimbabwe"Â
The Alltel cell is the contact number for both auctionnews.org and Stay Tuned Fishing Charters - Clearwater, Florida - Offshore FishingÂ
Back to Plunderhere...
Only 389 of the site's 62,500 items are indexed in Google Product Search and 562 of 62,500 in Google Base. Well, isn't that special? Now, who could be responsible for so few of PH's listings being indexed - could it be
SATAN?
Google Product Search Wrote:Results 1 - 20 of about 389 for plunderhere
In a move sure to boost conversions
arcasm1:, PH is now requiring buyers to become ID verified before they can use buy it now.
PH Wrote:We have added a system in place whereby all unverified buyers will
not be able to immediately use the 'Buy it Now' feature unless ID verified
due to some unscrupulous users just buying out a load of items and
not paying.
