Hi, everybody. What you're seeing on the homepage is recent stores marketing driven by our great...marketing team. You may have to refresh your browser, as the promotion cycles through a number of different messages in order to keep the home page looking dynamic/fresh.

Some of you are also seeing the Stores search testing that is only being shown to about 7% of our users for testing purposes. As noted in the one of the top posts on the board, we're going to be doing some focused experiments in this area over the next few weeks.

I'm so excited I think I'll close my new site and go over to eBay and refresh the home page a few times...

We split the merchandise that we carried in our (closed) eBay Store into 2 separate web sites.  One of the sites receives over 5X more traffic than the eBay store did, and the other site receives almost 3X more.  So that's almost 8X as much traffic as we received on eBay...and we have never done any paid advertising for either of those 2 websites.
