Isn't that the things with the sugar powder in them? Â YUK...
I was a "chocolate" kinda kid... oh who am I fooling... Â I still am!! Â

The Flav-R-Straws I remember had flavor strips in the middle of them, and only came in chocolate and strawberry. You sucked your milk through them to make chocolate milk or strawberry milk. Problem with them is that they dissolved during the process, so the first few sips had no flavor and the last were like soup.
Here's another one for ya -- Does anyone remember Space Food Sticks?
Never heard of them...
Flavor straws here were plastic and had flavored sugar in them...
WaaaayÂ
I'm going to be landing in New York late on the evening of June 2nd. Truth and I will finally meet face to face as he has agreed to pick me up at the airport. We are cordially inviting anyone else in the NY area or close to it that would love to join us for the first ever ex-popper get-together.Â
If you think you can make it PM one of us!! We'd love to meet as many of you as we can!Â
KaRay you need not respond - this invitation excludes you unless you wish it to turn into a very heated 'roast'.Â
I remember space sticks, the peanut butter ones. My aunt and uncle made me their caddie and bribed me with space sticks.
Ahh good times.
I used to sneak a koolaid pack and the bag of sugar out of the house and make my own pixie sticks. That is why I never bought them for my own kids.
Karma!
I think I'm the only one here who just blasted in with my name for the whole world to see. I totally understand your concerns, but we won't out you.
Banana girl, if you even think about going somewhere, we will start stealing your karma and you'll never get to 300!
:blinkie:
With all this talk of Koolaid, Does anyone remember that candy called Lick-a-maid (get mind out of gutter). It was a couple of pouches with powdered sugar like koolaid that included a pure hard suger stick that you would lick and dunk into the powdered sugar? Thank goodness my kids are like me and ask for the good stuff - CHOCOLATE -Â Thanks for the memories
I look forward to the day when I "come out", it will be fun to see who can guess immediately.Â
I will say though, 1st clue - I can be helpful but never have considered myself one of theÂ
Have a great night - and thanks for the smiles

Lick-a-maid, YES, I'm a self-confessed ex-indulger! Chocolate never did it for me and still doesn't. Hubby bought me a chocolate bunny the first Easter we were together. When Christmas rolled around, only the ears were gone. I gave in at that point and let him polish the critter off. He's never presented me with another one.Â
Karma, I already have a hunch who you are. Can I PM you with my guess?Â
Karma,
I can assure you I have no clue, that unfortunately isn't unusual. Your secret identity is safe with me.
Now Sherrand is the TT house detective. She is also a ghoststore buster. Kind of like a reporter in the field.
Sherrand,
Sure. It would be interesting to see if you have already guessed correctly. But, I want to know what made you come to that guess.Â
You would make a fabulous detective! You must be one who pays very good attention to details.
PM away......Â
And yes, I had a feeling I was spelling lick-a-maid wrong, but it was pretty funny, so I was too lazy to look it up!!
